Wagon Wheel Cafe

Great specials.  This is a popular spot for breakfast and lunch.  You will usually see farmers meeting up here as well as a lively group of locals and all kinds of folks.  It is not far from the Katy Trail if you are biking from Clinton or Sedalia.  It is closed Wednesdays.  Smoking is allowed in half of the place and you will not see that in Johnson County or Kansas City.  My favorite was usually the pie or chopped steak.  I never had a bad time.  Service is fast but you must realize that you might not be presented with a bill.  Just come to the counter and settle up.  Likewise you will not see a maitre'd, so just sit down anyplace.
