My family dined at the Waterfront Grille for dinner. Â The food was very good, albeit a bit expensive. Â However, part of what you pay for is the spectacular views. Â We got a low indoor table right along the window. Â The views were stunning. Â We switched sides of the table half way through so everyone could look at the mountains. Â My husband ordered halibut which was very good. Â The kids meals were very high quality. Â The decor was modern and the service was very good. Â We enjoyed our dinner immensely and would go back next time we are in town.

We have eaten there twice and fortunately had the same wonderful swrver,Rachel who was very professional and friendly making our anniversary dinner very special.we will continue to eat there every time we visit Estes!!! The bad was like a blast from the past fantastico!
Review Source:I ate dinner with my wife and two of our friends at the Waterfront Grille after a day spent exploring the Estes Park Wool Market. We were actually trying to find some other restaurant that my wife had eaten at before, but when we ended up here and the kitchen said they could accommodate our gluten and soy allergy issues, we decided to give the Waterfront Grille a try.
It was early for dinner, so we could sit where we liked. We opted to sit outside, on the deck overlooking the lake and the mountains. The view was spectacular! If the weather permits eating outside here, do it!
The server was extremely helpful and friendly, going back and forth to the kitchen several times to ask about allergy issues. We ended up going with some steaks and some salmon, all of which were delicious. The cheesy potato side dish was wonderful as well (a substitution from the soy-containing usual side that otherwise would have some with the steak). Oh, and the one member of our party who was eating gluten said that the bread was fantastic.
We were all pretty full from dinner, but I couldn't resist the prospect of dessert. We got two items for the table: A berry parfait with Grand Marnier, and a Bananas Foster. The drunken berries were a lot of fun, but the Bananas Foster were out of this world. Our friends had never had the dish before, and they were blown away. Flaming bananas in butter and sugar over ice cream, prepared tableside by a gorgeous lake... this is the life!
Now, I'll warn you that such luxury doesn't come cheap, but for a special occasion it's worth every penny. We're already looking forward to dinner here after next year's wool market!
The Waterfront Grille is beautiful. Everyone knows the Estes Park Resort has style, and the restaurant inside is no different. While you are touring around Estes Park I would definitely recommend stopping for an amazing brunch and fantastic views of Lake Estes and Long's Peak.
We had attentive, thoughtful service -- every single individual was genuine and eager to above and beyond for us.
The omelets were freshly made and outstanding. The roasted prime rib carving was mouth watering good! I also had the smoked salmon and went back for seconds. The fruit was fresh and sweet. The pastries and desserts were outstanding --- the bread pudding!! hhHHHMMMm goood!!
