  This is a perfect spot for a simple country fried chicken lunch.  Stay away from the fried fish..it took forever and was less than ho hum once we finally got it.  Hush puppies were good and the corn on the cob was REALLY good.  Fries were hot and crisp..great tea.  Not very clean..we had to wipe down our table, but the wait staff was very friendly - a bit overworked when we were in.

  Very outdated restaurant interior with ugly tile and a combination brick wall and wood paneling straight out of the 70's. Decor is more in line with a seafood restaurant than a meat/veg restaurant and screams a guys decorating style or maybe just what ever they could find from the local dump. All of this I could over look if just the food was good, and it was below average. I had to wait 30 minutes at lunch for the fried chicken to cook and when served it was just too hot to enjoy and not to mention dripping grease all over the plate. I would skip this joint if I was you!

  Best chicken tenders in town! Hand-breaded, large breast tenderloins, perfectly seasoned. Come hungry, or take them home with you for later. You order at the counter and get a number. You can also order through the drive thru. Sweet tea is always fresh. Large booth seating available. The decor is one of a kind.
