Went here after a weekend of camping and the hostess greeted us and gave us menus. Then the waitress took our order. The cook gave it to her when it was done. And she delivered it.... oh yeah and this was all 1 person.
The guys got chicken fried steak and it was huge and delicious.
My biggest happy thing was that the hashbrowns were a little crispy without me having to order them that way.
Food was pretty cheap too.
Ordered the dinner plate. 2 beef tacos with rice & beans.. My son had the 6 piece nuggets & fries.. It was delicious! I love the way the place looks from the outside. Looks like a big home in the middle of nowhere so it's quiet. There's really no other businesses beside it.. The food was priced good! SOOO YUMMY.. One of the best tacos I've tasted.. Oh and I had a coffee to go.. I love the cups they put it in. You don't need one of those paper holders.. There was also a very helpful little girl there that I believe is my son's age that gave us the menu.. so cute.. family owned business I was told. Food was great!!
Review Source:Not a saloon in the usual sense, but a great waystation restaurant in the middle of nowhere between CA101 and the Big Sur coastline. Delicious comfort food and superb service reach a high standard for locals as well as travelers accessing Fort Hunter Ligget, Mission San Antonio Lakes San Antonio and Nacimiento and other beautiful environs.
