Over a dozen TVs in the bar area and not one could be tuned to the NASCAR race (waitress had some excuse about them all being on one circuit - but later someone mistakenly hit the remote for our TV and we saw the channel line-up on only that one). Â Then all TVs were set on the Packer's game, which is great, but all of them had the sound turned up so the echo thru the room made it difficult to hear any of the announcers. Â We will not be coming back; there are several other sportsbars in the area that are much better.
Review Source:I thought this place had pretty good food. We stopped on a Thursday night and the main bar was packed so we had to eat in the back dining room. Definitely not the same feel as the Sports bar Area but what can you do. We started off with the Mozzo sticks. They had a very good breading and the marinara sauce was superb, only complaint is the cheese can't get fully melted because they actually use string cheese. Oh well they were still good.
They have quite a burger selection, I went with #23 which was ham, bacon, and chipotle sauce on top of a perfectly cooked medium burger. I was quite impressed with the burger (juicy & flavorful) the fries were crispy and tasty as well. Went through a ton of napkins and the more napkins used generally the better the burger. Our server was excellent considering we were in the back hall and even though my wife's fries came out wrong she was happy to replace them.
Overall it was a pleasant experience and I will go back sometime in the near future.
So, my husband and I decided to try out the new place in town.  They had been open for just over a month or so.  Thinking that a Wednesday night wouldn't be too busy, we headed out.  We were wrong.  The parking lot of full and the place was super busy.  The inside looked nice: TV's and tables and a large bar.  It is, after all, a sports bar/center.  They had a large room  off to one side with one pool table, a dart board and a dining table and another room with a fun center with kids game like skee-ball.  But in the main room it was a bar and a handful of pub style tables. Â
There was no hostess podium so we just kinda stood there until someone asked for our names for the wait list. Â So we joined the list and got a drink at the bar. Â Nice price for our two drinks. Â And then the wait came.
About 10 minutes later, a couple that came in right after us got seated. Â This was after a waitress went around to a couple of people asking who they were(if they were on the list). Â The couple wasn't who she was looking for but then gave them the open table. Â My husband asked the waitress how long yet for us. Â She walked away and then came back after a minute or two and said there was a table ahead of us and it would be a bit. Â
There was no organization when it came to seating. Â No real hostess. Â Just a waitress running around waiting tables, taking names, trying to find those on the list. Â
So then we stood around for another 20 minutes. Â This whole time we watched the couple that got seated wait for a waitress. Â She never came. Â They just sat there patiently waiting for service. Â Another table with 6 people also had menus and looked ready to order. Â The man even asked a waitress who their waitress was. Â She didn't know. Â As far as I could see, there were only 2 waitresses. Â So, 50% chance she was their waitress.
By this time, our stomachs were starting to rumble and I could see my husband's patience wearing thin. Â He was done. Â So, after a half hour, we left. Â We didn't even get to try the food. Â We had heard it was good. Â But not tonight.
First impressions are everything. Â This one was a bit sour. Â I may go back after the hype has died and it's for lunch on a weekday. Â Well shall see...
I am really glad tonight wasn't my first time @ Weiman's. The service sucked. Whoever it was bartending DID NOT know what they were doing, didn't know how to make a drink, work the cash register, make conversation, have manners or wipe his nose... wow.
Other than that, my original review stands.
