Yeah, I'm reviewing a Wendy's. When you see a long line, which you often might, don't fret -- they're quick. They're also really nice -- shoutout to the manager walking around giving out free mints and asking if everything is great -- the smaller, nice gestures always win me over. I don't eat Wendy's enough back home so I don't know if there something special about the food here compared to most locations -- maybe they upped their food game -- but damn, the food here always tastes fresh and even looks aesthetically pleasing. Are they filming commercials back there?

No receipt with my purchase? Really?? I mean really? When I asked for one all I had was a ugly attitude, I get it it's 3am in the morning but come on all I got is "we don't give receipts" maybe one of the regional managers have to check this store this smells fishy to me!!!

I ended up paying about $10 for a single baconator combo!! That to damn m

I normally like Wendy's, but this location is horrible! I left San Diego at 1am to head to San Jose and this was my first pit stop at 6am.

Service: None. I stood in line for about 15 minutes with no customer in front or behind me while the employee looked at her clip board and spoke on the phone. There was no friendly morning greet or a simple, "I'll be with you shortly.".  When She finally had the time to take my order she just looked at me without  the typical, "Welcome to Wendy's, how may I help you?"  While she took my order, She repeated it three times and each time she was wrong. She was getting frustrated and was giving me more and more attitude. Before I even got my receipt, she yelled in my face, "NEXT!"

Food/Price: The food is the same as any other Wendy's but I think this location is  a little more expensive

Environment: This Wendy's is actually connected to a pit stop type of store with restrooms and shower rooms. The pit stop was VERY clean, too bad I can't say the same about this Wendy's! It was horrible! The tables were dirty with crumbs, the floor was sticky and this was in the morning! I tried to find a cleaner table, but they looked the same, so I used a baby wipe and a few of their napkins to wipe down the table and the employee at the register just gave me a dirty look.

Wendy' s is a good place, but this location is horrible!

Loved how they have an all-day menu.
We had burgers for breakfast.  Yum! ^_^

A bit more pricey than any other Wendys but hey, it is good.

    They have clean restrooms!!!
    Lots of parking spaces.
There is a shell next door, but it isn't connected to Wendys so you have to drive out and drive back in.

It is a pit stop. do you really expect awesome food. and also it is Wendys HAHAHA can't mess up on fast food.

***This was my first ever visit to a Wendy's for breakfast; it was not horrible, but for unhealthy fast food breakfasts, I prefer McDonald's; this location had two listings on Yelp so I posted my review and pics to both listings***

On most of my trips on the 5 from LA to SF, I have stopped at McDonald's for breakfast.  There are not many other choices, but I stumbled upon this Wendy's (I had never been to a Wendy's for breakfast).

This Wendy's has a breakfast menu that is similar to Burger King and McDonald's (they do offer biscuits with sausage gravy, a dish I think you cannot get at those other two places in California).

I had the bacon, egg and cheese biscuit and it was very similar to the same breakfast sandwich at McDonald's.  The biscuit might have lacked the crunchiness and color of the McDonald's biscuit, but the egg was similar as was the slightly melted-and-slightly-not-melted slice of American cheese.

Wendy's may have been a little more generous with the bacon (though, like McDonald's, it was not great bacon).

The hash browns were the circular discs that you would find at a Burger King.  Not exactly hot or incredibly crispy but okay for what it was.  I am not sure why, but McDonald's really seems to own the patent on tasty (albeit incredibly unhealthy) breakfast hash browns.  It seems that their top competitors opt for these discs while the places that go for the McDonald's-esque hash brown shape end up serving not-so-crisp and incredibly greasy/soggy hash browns.

Service was fine and quick.  Prices were similar to other fast food breakfast spots.

Wendy's breakfast is not a significant drop off from a McDonald's breakfast so it might be an option if you want to try something new.  However, if a McDonald's breakfast is a guilty (or non-guilty) pleasure of yours, you probably should skip this Wendy's and head to one of the nearby McDonald's locations instead.

Like most fast food places, this Wendy's has its own free parking lot; it is also attached to a convenience store, which carries several auto and do-it-yourself-like equipment.

I am a SoCal native who has been living in the bay for the last 2 years. I go down to LA very often to visit family, and over the course of the last 2 years - have eaten here on a regular basis. However, the last few months I have received the WORST possible service, to the point where I am more than likely to eat elsewhere.

I get it, it's CA. You speak Spanish. I do not. However, that does not mean that I am less entitled to good service. The last handful of times I have not received my receipt or my order was either late or wrong. They just don't care. EVERY TIME I complain to the manager. Most recently (a week ago) my girlfriend and I stopped here while we were heading down into LA, she received her food before I did! How is this possible? We ordered at the same time. It wasn't just me, either. There were a handful of people that were complaining. How can you even charge someone for food and not give them a receipt?? I had to fight to hell and back to get one, and even then - it was the incorrect one. No apologies, nothing. A complaint to the manager didn't even help.

I am over it, I am NEVER coming back here again. I am a Wendy's girl through and through, but this Wendy's will NOT be getting my business ever again.

Stopped here on my way home from Paso Robles to grab something to eat on the go.

Ok we get it, you hate your job in the drivethrough window, don't take it out on me and my innocent french fries! It's a customer service job, learn to serve the customer.

    super unfriendly people

    1 Star

    Service was good
Food was below average (compared to other Wendy's trips)
Flies in the kitchen and dining area outnumbered humans by at least 3 to 1 (almost as bad as the guy:girl ratio in a San Jose club)
Dining area needed cleaning, but the kitchen area was effin' filthy.

The good news is that I didn't get sick from eating here.

Wait! I remember now, I got chili and some spicy nuggets. The managers were there so everybody was on their best behavior. Verrrrry nice.

I went here on a pit stop on my way to Los Angeles.  I didn't want Mc Donald's, Jack in the Box nor Burger King... I wanted Wendy's.  I was craving for there chili and nuggets.

The French fries were fresh off the hot oil bath but the nuggets tasted old, seem like it's been sitting.  The chili was mediocre and delicious as usual.

Overall, this place is pretty slow, except for may truckers who stop by grab a bite and travelers like me pit stopping.  The place is pretty large and connected to the gas station.

    -Parking-
Parking is readily available.  There are many spots outside.

Stopped by this Wendy's to grab some grub and use the restroom on our way down to Southern California this past weekend. Service was bleh - the woman that took our order seemed to have an attitude. The food was OK. The dining area was clean. I'm definitely not a fan of their new natural cut fries with sea salt.

This is your typical Wendy's but not typical pace. It's a little on the slow side and the employees don't seem to care too much whether or not you get your order right as the two times I've been here everyone's orders have been wrong and they took a long time to fix it.

However, sometimes food is food, you can't really complain much and in the end you get what you pay for because it's one of the only things available out here in the middle of nowhere.

This place is really fast and you will get your food within 2 mins of ordering. However, I don't know if they filter out their water but in the soda and especially the sweet tea, you can taste chlorine, which is gross.

Nice place to stop along the highway. Attached to a pilot travel center. This Wendy's is very fast and convenient. They offer the standard Wendy's value meal options. The jr. bacon cheeseburger is a great value for only $1.

Absolutely disgusting. They had no hamburgers. What kind of fast food place has no hamburgers? They also had no napkins. They were using party napkins!!

The fries also tasted like McDonald's fries instead of Wendy's fries. Stay away.

Drive Thru here was our best friend. Quick Service, they got the order right first time around. My junior bacon cheeseburger had lettuce in it that was crispy, green and fresh both times when stopped here (going to LA and coming back). My girls enjoyed their chicken sandwiches and fries which were crispy not soggy. Napkins and ketchup packets were already put in the bag...sweet deal
