Wendy's

Of all the fast food restaurants in Monticello (and there is a surprisingly ample amount of big and small chains represented here), I prefer Wendy's above all.  The Wendy's here is a cross between a fast food restaurant and a diner.  The manager walks around asking if you need anything, or could he get you a refill.  They care if you're happy.  It's clean, and the seating is organized well to give a spacious feeling.  The staff at the counter are nice and friendly.  If they get your order wrong, or even if you got your own order wrong (meant hamburger, not cheeseburger), they will correct it free of charge, and they even let you keep the wrong order.  The new sea salt, hand-cut, russet potato french fries are almost as good as McDonald's.  The spicy chicken sandwich is actually spicy enough for me.  If it wasn't for the food, I could forget it was Wendy's and think I was at Angler's.
