This place was recommended by one of the Potter's we visited today with our church group. Place was clean, and very spacious. My hamburger steak was a little high in price at $8.99, and it came with mashed potatoes, texas toast and a salad. It was fine. My wife got a vegetable plate with slaw, pintos, green beans and mashed potatoes. Again, all okay, nothing outstanding. Service was friendly. The only thing I had that was very good, was the slice of coconut cake. It tasted great!
Review Source:This is the place I go to when in the area for a really good meal. It is about 15 miles from where I stay but is worth the drive. I love their Chefs Salad. Really big with lots of stuff. I have had the 12 oz rib eye steak there before and it was kind of stringy. This time I ordered the 16 oz T Bone (med rare) with a baked potato and a nice side salad ($16.99) because I was very hungry. What a disappointment. It was stringy and tough but cooked just right. Even the small fillet part wasn't good. I saw no use in sending it back because it probably represents the quality of beef they buy. When I went up to pay my bill, the girl asked "how was everything?" and when I told her about the steak her jaw dropped open but she didn't do anything to make it right. Â I would be willing to pay $19.99 for a 16 oz T Bone if the quality was good. In the future I will stick to the Chef Salad or something else. Definitely not a steak.
Review Source:Pretty great place to eat if you are in the area. Â Actually it is the only place to eat if you are in Westmoore. Â Food is always good. Â Seafood is ok. Â Salads are huge. Â I would recomend the chef salad. Â Waitstaff is always friendly. Â Daytime hours are a bit strange. Â Only complaint I could make is that if you order the grilled chicken, expect a small piece of chicken.
