Wild Aces SUCKS !!!!! That's right... I said SUCKS !!!!!!! They are more concerned about watching a Clemson football game than they are about treating customers fairly. Any sports fan that comes to this establishment to watch any sports event that conflicts with a Clemson football game will likely be disappointed. True, they do have at least seven television sets. However, if the Clemson Tigers are playing at the same time as a different game you are interested in is playing then you may be out of luck. They would not even leave one television open for an alternate game. A group of 5 of us experienced this treatment first hand on 10/7/2016 during the Indians vs. Red Sox ALDS playoff game that we had already been watching for 2 hours. Wild Ace management went so far as to welcoming us to leave when we politely asked to watch the remainder of the baseball game. Please keep in mind we were causing no problems whatsoever and had already spent a fair amount of money on food and drinks. If you were planning on watching Game 4 of the World Series here I would recommend calling ahead to find out if Wild Ace will continue to disrespect REPEAT customers as they did with our group. The Clemson vs. FSU game and Game 4 of the World Series will be in direct conflict with each other this Saturday night. On top of all this, Wild Ace management has still not replied with an explanation or an apology of any kind. Do yourself a favor and read the reviews easily found online. You will find complaints about slow, shoddy service, poor food quality and even a reference to drug abuse by Wild Ace staff.

We have frequented several times. We love the food especially their sandwiches. However, their service is HORRIBLE. They are slow. They don't know who is supposed to have what table. The waitresses act  like they are in a daze. You would get 5 stars from me if you had better service. Maybe it is a management issue??

I do not know about the food, but the atmosphere was great and the beer was cold.  Will be back to try the food and sample more beers.

    Downtown Greer Good Eats!

I was recently having a longing to return to Wild Aces. Specifically, I was dreaming of their meatball sub. So many meatball subs can be either so soaked in marinara that you end up with a mess on your hands or too dried out and bland. The one I ate for lunch in late August was just perfect - crisp bread, flavorful meatballs, spicy marinara.

I dined with a group of co-workers, and we all had excellent meals. Our only complaint was that service was slow - granted it was the lunch hour, but the restaurant wasn't extremely full. I'll give the benefit of the doubt to a staffing issue where someone called in sick.

My husband has enjoyed Wild Aces for drinks -- they have a good draft selection with some beers you don't see every day on tap. I'm looking forward to joining him next time for Happy Hour.

All this and good atmosphere too, including a nice outdoor dining courtyard area facing the quaint streets of little Downtown Greer.

I had a terrible experience with this place. We went there last night, a group of about six. We opted to eat outside because it was crowded. It started raining halfway through our meal so we scarfed down what was left and went inside to pay and leave (as all of the tables inside were full). We stood there for fifteen minutes before anyone acknowledged us (which was when my friend voiced that the situation was rediculous). The response came from a waiter named "Walt" -- a young waiter with blonde hair and a beard. He told my friend to "shut the f*** up". I was completely shocked, saying, "are you serious? Did you really just say that?" and he responded that he did and that if I had a problem with it, I could leave. I responded that I wanted to speak with a manager and he walked away. Another fifteen minutes later we had just been handed our tickets and a manager had never shown up. I ended up flagging a lady on the way out asking for a manager and she introduced herself as the owner. She explained that she had been meaning to get over to us and I explained my experience to her. She then said that the waiter was one of her top servers and he was probably just "having a bad night." This was when he rushed up saying that he didn't say anything, with his finger in my face. The owner said and did nothing. I reiterated that the situation was not only rediculous, but proven. I explained that we would not be back. I never once received an apology from anyone. Not only will I not be back, but I will tell everyone that I know about my experience. I have never been treated so badly by a restaurant and would rather spend my money elsewhere. I am in disbelief. Bad service.

Super Bowl Sunday. Not a super entree for this place into my world. Called in takeout order at 5 for 530 pickup. 4 customers picked up their orders while we waited till 555. We were NOT alone.

The food was excellent, but a clear case of poor service overshadowing an otherwise good experience

The Franziskaner Weissbier on tap is the best. Just like your drinking in the beer gardens of Munich. The pizza is excellent, wings are great and the giant pretzel is amazing. One of our favorite places to go.

Love the wings, pizza and the staff!  Meet Jordan while you're there.  He's the Chef!

Cheerful staffs, decent drink specialties. Salad is ok, I didn't try anything else. Cool vibe crowd if come at right time.

Nice atmosphere in downtown Greer, terrible pizza. That "cheese" they use is awful. Save your cash and try something else. Not sure we'll be back, but if we are I'd try a sandwich.

I love this place!  Great atmosphere, service, food, & beer selection.  There's outdoor seating that's great for a large group.  The restaurant itself has big screen TVs all over the place.  It has that hometown pub feel.   The waitstaff is excellent.  The spicy teriyaki wings are my favorite wings anywhere.  The pizza is pretty good too.  We like the big pretzel or garlic knots as an appetizer while we're waiting.  There's something on the menu for everyone in the family - the kids love it too!

5 stars for being a great pizza place.  I've been saying for years that a good solid pizza pub would do very well in downtown Greer, and finally Wild Ace moved in.  They are definitely doing it right with great beers on tap, outdoor seating and sports on the big screen.  Oh and the food is good too.

My favorite is to get 2 slices w/bacon & pineapple.  The slices are big enough, I usually eat 1 and take the other home.  You can get this plus a great draft beer for about $9.  Great deal in the evenings, and the lunch special gives you 2 large slices & a non-alcoholic drink for $6.

Occasionally they will bring in a live band to play on the outdoor patio as well.

Here's a casual place in a revitalized downtown Greer that really hits the spot. The setting is a neighborhood restaurant bar with ample seating, high ceilings, and good lighting. The staff is young, upbeat and professional. Great selection of cold beer and mixed drinks. So far, so good, but let's talk about the menu. A good selection of whatever you want. It will take you some time to decide what to have; not because the selection is poor, but because there are so many good options! My wife and I ordered the Parmesan Chips and I was pleased with the serving size, temperature of the chips, and the amount of grated Parmesan cheese. Then we both ordered Calzones. The calzone was cooked perfectly! The dough was a golden brown, the amount of ingredients was more than enough, and the marinara sauce was very tasty! The waitress was helpful but not pushy and the check was very affordable.
What makes this establishment good is not only the food and service, but the attitude! They really try to do the best they can do...and it shows. I'll definitely be back.
Wild Ace Pizza & Pub is definitely worth trying.  Can't wait to order some pizza the next time.

Really Loud, Smoking after 10.  Do I sound like a grandpa yet?  This is one of the coolest places in the burgeoning Greer scene, however they are frequently out of beers that they advertise, although they are the only place to get them in the area.  The atmosphere is fine, but their attempt to make their "Wild Ace Girls" (waitresses) dress provocatively isn't my cup of tea.  They do have a lovely patio outside, and local beers on tap.

The food is basically directly lifted from the Barley's menu, with a few variations (frickles anyone?) My favorite menu item has to be the homemade pretzels with German Sweet mustard which will go great with you Franziskaner dunkel.

It seems like the city of Greer is becoming my new favorite spot.  I wish the ugly little city of TR had some character.....but that's another story.  Wild Ace Pizza & Pub is my new joy.  Bar? - check.  Outside sitdown?  - check.  Beer selection?  - check, ummmmm RANGER on tap!!!! Thin crust pizza? - check and pretty darn tasty too.  Easy going staff?  - check.  Sports on the tellie? - check.  I like this place.

.... tasty wings too, always a plus.
