TERRIBLE service and these are not the best burgers in Western WI as another poster mentioned who probably owned the place. Burgers were hockey pucks. We waited 15 minutes for our server to take our drink order and the other tables experienced the same.  She was mid-order at another table an got distracted and walked away from them. Absolutely terrible service.

Admittedly, expecting vegetarian options in a small town is a stretch, so my expectations weren't high. The people I was with really enjoyed their stuffed burgers, and the cheese curd appetizers (while small for the price) were great. The pizza was more of an overloaded, oversauced flatbread - crust wasn't hearty enough for the toppings. And the nachos (sans chicken) were served cold, and oddly, on a bed of lettuce? But the service was great and the meat eaters left satisfied, so it's a fine choice if you don't have dietary restrictions.

Found myself in Danbury while wandering around NW WI on the bike with some friends. Now, being out in the northwoods and pulling up to a lodge-looking joint can result in many suspect things - dodgy iceberg lettuce masquerading as a salad, disastrously trashy clientele, every menu item smothered in cheese, etc. No such problems at Wild Waters - nicely modern interior, pleasant service, and a good mix of locals and tourists stuffing their faces.

Between us we had a stuffed 'Mediterranean' burger, the 'Hot Daego' sandwich, and a big salad. The salad was as good as you'll find - fresh, large, complete, and politely served with the dressing on the side. The stuffed burger was met with strong reviews, but the real star was the 'Hot Daego'. We wondered why the food took a while to come out -  the reason? My sandwich was smothered in marinara sauce and cheese, then baked. I cut a few pieces for my friends to sample, ate the rest of the spicy italian sausage goodness myself. Really well done, not overly cheesy, a very nicely balanced meal. Made the side of ripple chips look a little sad by comparison. Highly recommended.

Overall a pleasant experience. We were on the motorcycles so none of us took part in the Sunday Bloody Mary bar, but I may have to plan ahead and take a run at that next time around...
