  This is truly a dive bar in a small one horse town full of oil field workers so my expectations were fairly low to say the least, but this place surprised me with some pretty good food!  
  
  My co-workers had burgers and fries.  They reported the burgers were great and they were huge.  The curly fries tasted about exactly like Arby's (the roast beef fast food people) - not bad, but fairly average.  Their "hand cut  homemade" chips were pretty much frozen ones from a food distributor like Sysco fried up - again not bad but nothing to write home about and on par with any decent bar food.
  
  So why 4 stars?  Well, I opted for their daily special of stuffed bell peppers and a roasted red pepper / baked gouda cheese soup and it was awesome, something that I'd expect served from a nice, higher priced restaurant.  So don't let the looks of this place fool you - coworkers said the burgers were great and my daily special shows they can do high priced restaurant fare too.  So if you're stuck in the oil fields of Northwestern North Dakota you only have about a half dozen choices for food - this place delivers the goods.
