This is truly a dive bar in a small one horse town full of oil field workers so my expectations were fairly low to say the least, but this place surprised me with some pretty good food! Â
My co-workers had burgers and fries.  They reported the burgers were great and they were huge.  The curly fries tasted about exactly like Arby's (the roast beef fast food people) - not bad, but fairly average.  Their "hand cut  homemade" chips were pretty much frozen ones from a food distributor like Sysco fried up - again not bad but nothing to write home about and on par with any decent bar food.
So why 4 stars? Â Well, I opted for their daily special of stuffed bell peppers and a roasted red pepper / baked gouda cheese soup and it was awesome, something that I'd expect served from a nice, higher priced restaurant. Â So don't let the looks of this place fool you - coworkers said the burgers were great and my daily special shows they can do high priced restaurant fare too. Â So if you're stuck in the oil fields of Northwestern North Dakota you only have about a half dozen choices for food - this place delivers the goods.
