  My husband and I dined at the Williamsville Inn for our 13th wedding anniversary and were treated especially well.  The atmosphere is cozy and intimate. The chef treated us to an amuse bouche of potatoes and beets that was tasty.  The mesclun green salad was very nice.  My husband had the sauerbraten and I had the Atlantic sea bass.  We finished the night with the apple strudel and fruit tart.  Everything was delicious.  It was a very memorable night.  Thank you Chef Erhard for a great night!

  I rounded down to 3 stars because Yelp doesn't allow 3 1/2 stars.  Had a lovely dinner here tonight, primarily because of the atmosphere and company.  White tablecloths; diners looked like a mixture of families staying at the inn and senior citizens.  Disappointed over the food given its award-winning advertising on their webpage.  First of all, table was tight for our party of 7 - you know how they always stick a seat at the end of a table rather than give us another table so we didn't have to always knock elbows.  Service was "leisurely" but not too slow.  Food was good, not great.  Apps ($13-14): duck confit with lentils salad (skin could have been more crispy), beef brisket with potato salad (grey brown plate didn't look appealing), beef consumme with vegetables (small and looked too healthy).  Entrees ($23-30):  weiner schnitzel with spaetzel (meat dry but tasty; the small amount of spaetzel was highlight of dish - light, steak with fried diced potatoes - steak looked small for price ($30) and sauerbraten - ok.  Desserts (limited; $9):  apple strudel (very small), chocolate truffle cake - you would think it's a slice of cake but no, there were 2 tiny 1 1/2" cubes of chocolate cake!  The berry tart was very good though.  Overall, nice ambiance, competent and friendly service but disappointed in the food.
