Everything I have ever eaten here has been good. Â I have had their filet, strip and 6 oz. sirloin and all were tender, very flavorful and cooked to perfection. Â They also have great sandwiches and burgers and one of the few places you can get really good mountain oysters. Â It is not a quiet place by any means. Â Plenty of TVs to catch your favorite game.
Review Source:As far as sports bars go, Willies has it going on. It's like the Willow Smith of young rap artists - clean, fresh and though Willies whips it back back and forth, it 'ain't doing nothing wrong.' There's no smacking that Akon style. There's no 'question that's been harrassin' ala Lil' John. Â
The grub is good - the queso is spicy enough for your amigos and Vietnamese friends alike. The chunks of red and green peppers and rings of jalapeños are nearly petrified in the thick, luxurious golden cheese-product pool.
Any IPA would be woefully sad without its natural compliment, the sweet potato fry. Medium thick strips that droop in the center and come to a crisp clean finish on either end, these red-orange fries sweetly caress their caretakers tongue.
...oh and the staff is super friendly, the beer is nicely priced and the taps are plentiful.
This is a pretty cool bar, which El Dorado has needed. I have not eaten here, so I can't comment on the food, but they have pretty good drink prices and a good selection of beers. I stopped in with my sisters and cousins on a Saturday night and we had a great time... and all the people around us seemed to be having a great time too. It was pretty busy and it does get a bit loud.
If you like quiet, sedate lounges, this may not be the place for you. If you like to have a few and not worry about being a bit loud with your buddies, then you'll probably have a great old time.
Cute waitresses, too.
