I would be a bigger fan of this place if almost 75% of it was not fried.
Yes, the buffet is enormous, but how many people can eat fried catfish, fried shrimp, fried corn fritters, fried steak fingers, and french fries in one sitting without paying for it later? This should be called the "cardiac arrest" buffet. I know we are in Texas, but still. Is there a doctor in the house?
The boiled cocktail shrimp was delicious, and they did have a baked potato bar and salad bar. Most of the meat was in the fried state, so I stayed away, but enjoyed the chocolate cobbler (yes, chocolate cobbler!) and peach cobbler. Mmmmm.
So if you do go, just be prepared for the fried food bananza.
