  I would never recommend this place unless you like week old smoked meat that has been reheated on the grill and covered in BBQ sauce.  The smoked brisket looked like a sliced up roast that had been grilled to reheat it. It was crispy all the way around, definitely not smoked and cut fresh! Pulled Pork was more of the same. Service was not what I expected either, they were not overly busy, but we had to wait 45 minutes for smoked meat lunch that was served with cabbage (i would not call that coleslaw) and potato salad. Atmosphere was nothing to seek out, the drink station is right in the front dining area and it looked like manager, (maybe owner) was taking some sort of meat product out of a large bag and re-bagging into smaller bags to store in refrigerator/freezer. It looked like an episode of Restaurant Impossible. This place needs help!

  Food was excellent and the service was great. Glad we stumbled on the place and decided to stop for dinner. Just about every seat has a view of multiple TVs and they were playing a variety of sports. Wasn't very noisy either, so we could have a conversation. I'll definitely be going back every time I'm in Tawas.

  When you are looking for a relaxed place to eat on vacation, passing though driving up the sunrise side, or even if you are a local; look no further than Wingin' It in East Tawas. Its a laid back atmosphere, with great service, fair prices, and ice cold beer on tap. The wings are great, I would recommend the boom boom sauce, as it starts sweet and has a kick on the way down. Also, the Double Bogie Beans are a surprisingly delicious starter. (HOT TIP: If the game is on, wings are $0.75 and Beers are a Buck)
  You won't be disappointed with anything on the menu - Wingin' It has some of the best BBQ in the state too. (Ask for dinner specials and if there is live music playing.)

  The wings were awesome! They had a nice smokey flavor and the sauces were great too! Hope this new place makes it in this tough economy. I only go to Tawas a few times a year, but this is definitely my new favorite place.
