What a disappointment. Â Husband and I visited the food side for a quick dinner on a weeknight and despite being about the only people in there, the service was abysmal. Â
The food was pretty good but not good enough to make up for the service. Â Our waitress told us upon arrival that today was "dollar day" with dollar sliders, hot dogs, and tacos and that the drink special was quarter wells. Â With that knowledge, I ordered a rum and coke and opted for something off the menu rather than dollar specials. Â We only saw our waitress when she brought our food and perhaps one other time, despite being close to the bar where she was gabbing with the bartender. Â
When we received the check, I noticed that I was charged $4.50 for the cocktails I ordered. Â We asked our waitress about this and she said the special didn't begin until 10:00pm! Â She neglected to relay that bit of information to us when we placed our orders. Â
All in all, the food wasn't good enough to make up for the bad waitress, who acted as if she was too busy and too awesome to do her job. Â I admit, this experience is one of the only times I didn't leave at least 20% tip!
Went there for dinner. Â Seriously unimpressed with the food and the service. Â It took about 20 minutes to get cheese for our fries. Â Tried it again for a night time outing. Â My favorite part was dancing in the cages - how often do you get to do that?! Â Most of the crowd was sketchy. Â Over-priced drinks for what you get. Â Being from the city I don't mind paying more for a drink, as long as it's decent - that's not the case here. Â The only reason I enjoyed myself was because of the people I was with.
Review Source:this place is skeezy and dirty. it's essentially a rancid frat boy club filled with already drunk, generally not classy girls. Â they actually have gogo cages above the lower dance bar, it's always packed, the waitstaff is missing half their clothing, and it's bottom shelf booze. i asked for a tanqueray and tonic, and i was served with a plastic cup! if you want a place to go dance, the coney is a little classier.
Review Source:The Indiana version of a dance club. The place is popular with the college kids, and they host a lot of different "parties" throughout the school year. Past events include Girls Gone Wild, an appearance by a "celebrity" from MTV's Real World, a Playboy model, etc. Most times they charge a cover at the door, and the place is usually packed on the weekends. It is especially popular with the frat-boy and sorority type. Definitely not my scene.
If you've ever been to a real dance club, you'll be dissappointed. But it's the closest Indiana gets.
