Woody's Smokehouse

BBQ brisket sandwich - 2 stars.  Jerky selection 5 stars.  BBQ is dry, boring.  You are far better off getting a bag of jerky and getting back in the road.

We actually drove an hour to eat at this place. Food was great, a little dry but was nothing to knock, was good, just dry. I was expecting a storefront / restaurant. That shouldn't take away from the attention which is the food but unimpressed with sticky table and trash that was left on tables. Place was super busy since it is attached to a gas station. Service was standard and prices were reasonable. It could have been $1 cheaper per person though. Overall, it was a decent experience and parking was a chore when we pulled up.

This place is an awesome roadside stop. Clean bathrooms, friendly staff, tons of souvenirs and yummy treats. Make sure to get the free samples of beef jerky!
