I had the pleasure of stopping during a happy hour meat raffle, a lively affair that had a vociferous bartender milking the suspense as she slowly called numbers while holding the shrink-wrapped prizes aloft. Two for one tap beer (Fat Tire and other substantial brews on tap), cheap saucy buffalo wings (better than the chains) and a rollicking local vibe-- all reasons I wi return when passing through Crosby.
Review Source:Besides its corky name, the "You Betcha Bar and Grill" is a descent place to visit.
It is one of the few bars in the area that has food available throughout the day. Â I went with their Bleu Burger and tatar tots... Both were fulfilling and fairly cheap. Â Although their food isn't "award winning", it definitely hit the spot. Â
If looking for an afternoon drink or a bite to eat, I'd give this place your business. Â
My only word of caution, later in the evening the bar can be home to a somewhat sketchy crowd.
A little small town bar and grill off the main drag in Crosby with a small patio out front used as a hang out for smokers and overflow bar crowd. Cheap and large taco special during happy hour and you walk of full, satisfied and a little buzzed for less than $10 plus tip. Other platters such as burgers and fry combo about $8 which is average for the area. It's a little too well know in the area so arrive early as the seating area is small and it fills up with familys looking for a cheap dinner fix for their offspring.
