  Two words: walleye sliders. Meat as white as a summer cloud and panko batter toasted to a wonderful brown.  I'm not usually a fan of breaded fried fish, but this was the best I've had.  My wife had a roast beef sandwich, philly-style - big chunks of extremely tender roast beef on a fresh hoagie bun.  There must have been over a 1/2-3/4 pound of meat hiding the bun.  The cheese and peppers struggled in vain to hold things together.  Wait staff was cheerful, helpful with the beer selection, and was available without hovering.
  
  We left before the band got there, but we could (almost) hear them in our room down the hall most of the evening.
  
  Overall a pretty typical northern Minnesota atmosphere: lots of wood paneling, a few guys at the bar wearing insulated coveralls (it was 13F outside), and a broad range of ages. Just a nice place.  We actually went back the next night and tried an appetizer and a blue cheese burger. Same good food and service.
