I recently went to Zeldas (on a Friday night for The Men of the Hollywood Strip) with a group of 6 girls and we had THE BEST TIME!!! Let me first start off by saying, don't judge a book by its cover. Yes, its location is a little strange but once you get in, its a whole other world. We were greeted by a group of AWESOME bouncers that totally looked out for us the entire night. They showed us right to our table and thats when the real fun started. Our waitress was a doll, the bartender was fantastic! He knew it was my bachelorette party and would never let me wait more then a minute for a refill.
OK now on the the guys.... what a group of hotties!! In a small city like Palm Springs my expectations weren't exactly through the roof but when they came out.... hello!! Gave Magic Mike a run for his money... ok, I'm reaching... but they definitely impressed me and my ladies. They were as respectable as possible while getting down, and very gracious ;)
As soon as the show was over DJ PJ played great music all night long! We had a blast drinking champagne and dancing the night away!
Thanks to TOM and the rest of Zelda's for an amazing bachelorette party!! Girls, if you wanna have a little wild night in the desert definitely check them out.
Not a bad spot for palm springs. My bartender was a doll! The place is nice inside and out and you can vape inside which is a huge plus! Cody at the door is a cool cat! :)
Not a wide selection of music :/ I would hire a new dj fosho! Oh and no more male strippers it's not a gay club!! I'm a female and didn't enjoy it... Enough said!
Overall tho I would recommend if in palm springs
I went to Zelda's for a friend's bachelorette party. Â When we all walked in I was pretty impressed for a night club in Palm Springs, but boy was I in for a treat! Â It was pretty empty at first, which wasn't a bad thing. Â We went onto the dance floor, and the DJ was playing top 40 music, which was fine. Â We noticed that you could text the DJ with requests, so we did. Â Let's just say that we texted him around 10pm and didn't hear any of our requests until 12:30pm! Â A little ridiculous, especially since we were the majority of the club until about 11:15 or so. Â The entire night the music was not great! Â We forgot that it was Cinco de Mayo weekend, but seriously they played Spanish music for about 80% of the night! Â The DJ even repeated songs that he had already played only 20 minutes before. Â Seriously?! Â There is so much good music out there, how can you be repeating songs (and songs that aren't even that great!)?!
We should have done more research, but that night they had a "foam" night. Â This meant the middle of the dance floor (which was roped off) became a "foam club." Â We were not that interested in that, as we all came in our cute bachelorette dresses. Â There was one dinky foam machine that let out some suds. Â People did go crazy over it, but the club did not think this through. Â It made the SUPER overcrowded club extra hot, extremely muggy, and disgustingly smelly. Â The people that were interested in the foam spent their time in the roped off area, but then walked around all wet and smelly and would rub up agains people that didn't want to be foamy and smelly. Â That part sucked!
The club is extremely small, but luckily they do have some open areas to sit with quite a few stools. Â This was nice, but made the club even smaller. Â The waitresses were also super rude. Â When I was sitting at a table with my friends, one of the waitresses was trying to bring a bucket of beer to the table next to me. Â The waitress basically yelled at me to move. Â That is definitely not the way to get a girl to buy more alcohol and leave a tip!
At one point I decided to lean up agains the stage, in which one of the security guys quickly came up to me and told me I couldn't do that. Â Well that is fine with me. Â But 2 minutes later I saw two girls get up on the bar and basically hang from a hanging speaker! Â No one told them to get down. Â I guess I wasn't dressed slutty enough!
Let me end this review with this...When we walked out of crazy experience at Zelda's there was a clown at the exit (he seemed to be working for the club)! Â Seriously?!
DJ: Sounded like a middle school dance. Didn't mix anything original. Literally this DJ sounds like the guy they hire for LQMS graduation dance.
Atmosphere: The bouncers were really classy, until you actually get inside. Dress code not enforced at all. Girls that look like their 12 in booty jean shorts and tank tops, hogging up the dance floor trying to show off their moves. If they maybe tried to keep the place classy it wouldn't be so sad to watch. Also they shouldn't let anyone climb on to those poles. I don't need to see up some overweight girls dress, trying to make her "a@# clap". Also there are a ton of creepy Guido wanna-be's. Beware classy ladies, they ask you to dance 6 times in 15 minutes, I'm not exaggerating either.
Drinks: Didn't even bother
Event: T.Mills was playing that night, first off making attendees wait till 12:45am for an artist who played 2 songs? Pathetic. Was glad I didn't pay to get in.
Venue: Small, but has a nice upstairs VIP section.
Overall this place would have potential, if they enforced dress code and stop letting all these ratchet girls slide down the poles. There are girls you hire for that, who are 10 times better to watch. Class it up a bit Zeldas.
Not what I expected. Actually I take that back. It's what I expected out of a nightclub in a strip mall next to a bicycle shop.
I didn't have enough cash for the $10 cover so I used my card, but, I had to open a drink tab in order to pay cover. Kindly asked the bartender if I had to have a minimum drink order to close out and he said no. So I get a vodka cranberry and close the tab.
Then out comes the clown. Seriously.
We did a quick walk around the whole joint  and had to herd past these guys that planted themselves in a busy walk through area to continuously faux freak dance any lady that walked by.
Pretty much over it by then. Dropped my drink off. Took a picture with the clown. And dipped.
I don't know if it is the club or the town itself. Â I've just seen and been to better clubs and I know this is unfair to compare to other cities and clubs but if you are going to be the only club in town, make sure you are the best one! Â Everything was terrible, music, girls, and my mix drink was toxic.
Review Source:I went here for a bachelorette party last weekend and we had a BLAST. Â It's definitely not a vegas club but we didnt go there with that expectation. Â We got awesome service and had a couple of tables in the sky box area right above the dancefloor. Â It was perfect for when we sent our girls to do their dares cause we could watch their progress the whole way. Â the DJ kept giving us shout outs the entire night and security was looking out for us the whole night. Â Loved the fact that they help you down the stairs...awww...how sweet is that? Â i'm sure its cause they dont want you to fall on your face, but still its sweet....=)
Review Source:It wasn't what I expected. But wasn't bad at all. I was in a group of 5 girls and 1 other guy. We got there about 10pm on a Friday night and the crowd was anemic. Apparently it was ladies night and they had what looked liked chip and dale rejects performing for about a half hour. Shortly after we got the night started. The prices of the drinks were pretty  good, beer paired with $2 shots and $3 tube shooters. Music was good and dancing great. First time and I would recommended for a second time.
Review Source:Last Saturday night, 12 of my girlfriends and I went to Zelda's for the first time for one of our friend's Bachelorette parties. Â After looking at Yelp forum's and googling around it seemed like this would be the place to go for the most part.
We booked a table (I spoke with Mike on a few email occasions who was super helpful, friendly, and made sure we were good to go)... we were told we needed to be there by 10:00 to hold our reservation. Â We weren't super thrilled about that because we knew nobody would be there - we were correct.
It was nice though because by the time we got settled and got our bottle service going people started arriving. Â
Honestly this is not the typical nightclubs I'm used to in Vegas or LA so it definately wasn't going to get 5 stars. Â I would say a 3. Â I actually really enjoyed the DJ (a couple of 'eh' moments)... I have to give it a 4 star though because we received fantastic service from everyone we interacted with from the reservation, to the front door, to our waitress for the night and the bartenders -- THAT you don't get at most nightclubs so for that I will give them 4 stars.
The crowd is soooo not our type of crowd but with a large group of us we were still able to have fun. Â Most of us are married so we don't need too much to have a good time while away I guess...
Woof, this place was disastrous!! Â We came on a Friday and apparently that was stripper night aka nasty shaved men wearing speedos and motorcycle boots doing dirty dirty things to ever so willing future brides. this future bride QUICKILY took off her bachelorette stuff and shoved it into my clutch so that I wouldnt be spotted by any of the nasty guys. Â Eventually the guys went away and it turned into a "dance club" but the music was awful and the crowd was disastrous. We stayed for probably an hour or so and quickily left and went to a low key karaoke bar instead. Â And thank god we didnt have to pay $10 to get int!! Â Our hotel had free passes to get in that they gave us
Review Source:Remember, it's Palm Springs, so don't get your hopes up. It's tolerable, especially since it's the only straight dance club we have. Go before 10 pm and you don't have to pay the cover, which isn't worth paying anyway. If you really want a good laugh or to embarrass your friends, go on Friday nights for the "Men of the Hollywood Strip" review. The announcer and the dancers they use have been doing this longer than most of the attendees have been alive.
The drinks are weak, so bring your own flask and buy a coke or Red Bull to mix your own. The people watching here is really the fun part- every time I've been (maybe half a dozen or so) there is always a fight and generally cops are roaming around just in case.
This has to be one of the most disgusting nightclubs I have been to in a long time. My friends and I lasted about 10 minutes before getting the f out of here. It is located in a strip mall, there is a $10 cover and the clientele was... yuck. We were trying to think of two words that described this place best. Here are some:
Underage and Overweight
Bad Taste
Fat and Ugly
Poor Quality
My girlfriends and I came to Palm Springs for a weekend getaway, and on Saturday night, we decided to come to Zelda's. Â It was a decision criticized by everyone from our hotel staff to our cab driver. Â Apparently there's a nicer club that was a longer trek from our hotel, and we debated going there before deciding to keep it close. Â When we told our driver we were going to Zelda's, he said, "Zelda's?" like the word itself had a bad smell. Â I wondered aloud how bad it could be, and asked my friends if it was going to be like The Mayan in L.A., seedy in reputation but perfectly passable. Â Turns out our cabbie was from L.A. and he said, "It's nothing like The Mayan. Â For one thing, Zelda's is in a strip mall."
It was indeed in a strip mall, but it was a reasonably nice club, big and sufficiently ventilated, with good music for dancing. Â It wasn't pretty, or fancy, but definitely fine, and we had a spectacular night.
Cover was $10, with no wait, and about a minute after we walked in, we noticed a frying pan on a section of the dance floor. Â Before we had a chance to come up with a plausible explanation, the speakers announced a bachelorette party, and a man who called himself Rico Giovanni arrived in a long black trench coat and a cowboy hat. Â I'd never seen a male stripper before, and this was an interesting show. Â First of all, he did his entire routine to Creed's "With Arms Wide Open." Â Second, the frying pan was there so he could light some oil on fire, just for the drama. Â His strip show revealed chaps under his coat, and some kind of white underwear under his chaps that left a full moon view of his backside. Â I felt kind of bad for the bachelorette when he gave her a lap dance that involved him taking her hand and placing it on and around his balls. Â Is that legal? Â He also got into a towel and removed those weird panties underneath and gave her a private view. Â It was a bizarre, funny, uncomfortable, strangely fascinating show. Â My future maid of honor was with me and she took note. Â As Creed's song about a newborn ended, one of my friends turned to me and said, "Well that was worth $10."
That show set the tone for the rest of the night, and we enjoyed several colorful hours of dancing and drinking until the lights came on. Â We took a number of tequila shots at the bar, several of which were comped by the bartenders. Â (Incidentally, my last few reviews are not representative of my usual level of tequila consumption - Palm Springs had me drinking like I was 21 again.) Â At one point, our group was approached by a very adorable 21st birthday boy and his friend, who asked us to dance with them. Â The birthday boy had braces, as I did on my 21st birthday. Â We also made friends with a couple gay men, one of whom might have been the sweatiest human I've ever seen, and a big middle-aged bouncer with a ponytail. Â It was an eventful night. Â Legendary, even.
So if you're in Palm Springs looking for a fun night out, don't let the naysayers and the strip mall location keep you away. Â Sure, Zelda's is no Vegas club, but it's fun and relatively easy to deal with. Â There is certainly nothing about the venue that will stop you from having a great time, and there's plenty there to help you get started.
I had sooooooo much fun!
I was a little scared because I had been here 2 years ago in July and it was hotter than a mother in there. They moved locations and this place was a lot more spacious and the air conditioning was working well.
We came for a Bachelorette party and bought 3 bottles for 15 girls that way we had an area to sit in.
We got to the location at about 9:30 PM. We walked in and it was empty but we were greeted by everyone there and the our waitress lady we awesome! She was a little older but she was so much fun!! They even threw 2 bottle of champagne in towards the later part of the night. As the night went on the place got pretty packed.
The music was pretty good... all I remember is dancing all night long! I gotta say this was one of the best times I've had in a long time! I will be back next year when we have our annual trip!
Well, went there on a friday and they were having a girl's only showing, aka male dancers. (boys hint there was a lot of females this night.)Place was ok, drinks were a little pricy but the music was good. If you have a good crowd of friends, i think you can have a lot of fun at this place, but overall not impressed.
Review Source:This place has yet to amaze me. Ive been here 3 seprate times because my friends want to "Club" and we end up here. the place isn't big at all so the dace floor is pretty small and cramp. It HOT in this place also, the last time i was in there i didnt have a drink and hardly danced, and i was sweating in there. And dont ask for water, they wanted to charge me $4.50 for one bottle, thats the same price as an drink!
Review Source:Those of you from Hollywood/LA area read carefully.
This place will make you feel like you're in Mexico. It's disgusting. we spent about $600 at our table and we ended up giving our table away to the needy because we couldn't take it anymore. I called earlier that day and talked to "Rod", i asked him to book us the best table in the house because it was our first palm springs trip and we wanted to see what this club had to offer. so we got there and immediately i thought "uh ohhhhh". Like any unorganized shit-hole, the door men had no idea who we were, and they made us pay a cover ($10 ea.) ON TOP of our $600 table tab. they saw we had money in our wallets (when we got our id's out) so they MADE US take our coats off and check them into the coat check just so they could charge us another $5 each. They seem to think my Ben Sherman sport coat was somehow "gang attire" LMAO! When we finally got to the "VIP" area, it was not as described by "Rod". he said we would get the "Sky-box" [private] table overlooking the club, "it's the best seat in the house" he said. The "sky-box" was a small area upstairs which reminded me of a prison watch-tower, and there was NOTHING private about it. after one hour we couldn't take it anymore, so we gave our bottle/table away to some fat chicks that were having trouble getting in...our bill was $200 more than they said on the phone, which would have been fine if the party was good, but it sucked.
As we were walking out, we got our coats and headed to the parking lot... We Tipped a bouncer $50 to find us a cab 10 min before leaving. and of course, he was no-where to be found hahha. no bouncer, no cab. Coincidentally, there was a gang fight right outside the club as we were leaving. After they fought, they scattered to their cars promising eachother they would come back with guns lol. We then had to WALK right by all the fighting/commotion with 4 [hot] white girls and only 2 guys, That was the hardest part of this whole night hahha. We finally made it back to the main st.
Later we realized that Zelda's was a HUUUUUGGGGEEEE mistake. I guess everyone needs to try it once to know what i'm talking about. I still went after reading the reviews, my mistake. and i'm writing this review in hopes that i'll save many others from this terrible experience.
Try out "The village pub". we went there after and had a BLAST. drinks took a bit to long, but only because it was FLOODED WITH PEOPLE! it was a GREAT crowd, we had an awesome time there!!!
On the FENCE with 3-4 stars but imma go with 4... YOU KNOW!!
I came out to Palm Springs because I was stuck in 29 PALMS DOING TRAINING! Fyi palms springs and zeldas is a life saver, it came thru clutch on the weekends. The place is located in a small strip mall so I was like "this is gonna blow", but the music and crowd were very diverse, and made the night interesting.
The drinks were strong and the bartender was friendly(HERE's A TIP* tip the bartender with like 30 % the first time and always go back to the same bartender she I'll remember you guys and will make you drinks extra strong!!!)  It's a good place to go and let your hair loose as long as you don't expect to meet lifelong friends if you know what I mean hint hint. Some times theres a cover charged, but we didn't get one maybe because we were early and military. Drink specials- (whiskey sour for me, and it was only $2 or $3), so me in my boys we party and the music was good, we danced, and met some really nice people.  Overall, next time I go to Palm Springs, I wouldn't object to coming here, they have screwdriver's for 7$ , the adios was like 9- a little more expensive, naturally.
The best part of it all was all the women in their, the place was packed....FIRST TIME I SAW WOMEN OUT NUMBER MEN...
MOST GOODDD, MOST GOOD(Family Guy lmao). So if you are looking for nice place to chill and meet some new people, this place is definitely a good SITUATION!
Never been to palm springs and my resort had a shuttle to take me and my girls to Zelda'ss so we thought why not! Â Friday night they have a male review show which was great (we caught the last couple acts). Â Good music, good drinks, local spot- I would definitely go again if in the area.
Review Source:I came out to Palm Springs for a girlfriends bridal weekend get away and decided to add a night of dancing to the list of activities. We stopped at the first place we spotted and it happened to be Zeldas. It was decent but you can't hold too high expectations.  My friends and I came from LA so we knew not to walk in expecting to be wow'd. Given that the place is in a small strip mall we were prepared for anything.  The music and crowd were each very diverse. The drinks we had were strong and the bartender was friendly  It's a good place to go and let your hair loose as long as you don't expect to meet life long friends.
Review Source:I came to Palm Springs for my Bachelorette Party weekend. We rented an awesome house with a pool for the weekend and Zelda's is where we went Saturday night. My friend called one of the managers and tried to plan everything out perfectly. She wanted no cover, table service, etc. for the party. The manager agreed to everything. Saturday when she called to see what time we should arrive, the guy on the phone said we were down for the previous night and the guy she talked to isn't here on saturdays. So, she was pissed. I mean why wouldn't you want a bunch of girls for a bachelorette party coming to your club and spending money?? You shouldn't piss them off, so they leave. We still went over there.... and my friend worked her magic and they finally allowed us "an area." No table service because I guess they don't have tables there. But we were allowed to go into the 2nd story area and get bottle service. Once we were up there it was fun because we were able to drink amongst our selves and have fun. We tried to venture to the main dancefloor to get our groove on and quickly realized upstairs in our private area is where we wanted to dance. There were way too many people simulating sex on the dancefloor. I felt like i was in a giant dirty orgy. At least pound someone to the tune of the music so it looks like dancing. Gross! Â So, overall....
-negative points for being a sleezy place
-negative points for messing up our reservation & almost ruining our night
-positive points for redeeming yourself & giving us a private area to drink amongst ourselves
... and Im being generous with the positive points because that is mainly due to our "let's have fun anyways" attitude. The most fun had this weekend was at the pool with cocktails.... not at Zelda's
My friend and I decided to take a little trip to Palm Springs for a few days for some R & R. Â It was a June Tues-Thurs kinda trip. Â We went to Zelda's off a tip from some local residents, and we went in not knowing what to expect.
We got there around 9-ish, on Wednesday night. Â We didn't get charged a cover, but I'm not sure if it was because we were early. Â At first there weren't that many people there- we ordered a drink (whiskey sour for me, and it was only $2 or $3) and people watched.
The music was good, we danced, and met some really nice people. Â Overall, next time I go to Palm Springs, I wouldn't object to coming here. Â I had a really good time, though I didn't hate it, didn't love it.
