Great place but I needed a bigger hat. However, with great hat comes great responsibility! Everyone was having a good time and the beer was cold. You can bring your own bottle why not drink in a bar covered with bras - Kind of like Hooters in reverse.  I will be back.

Visited 11th Street Cowboy Bar this past summer after seeing they had the best reviews in Bandera.  We arrived around 10 o'clock and was surprised how huge this facility is.   I think there were more people in this bar than the entire town of Bandera.  Plenty of bar stations for beer only I believe.  I did notice some people had their own cup which I'm sure they brought their own liquor.  We'll probably our flask since I know my husband enjoys his whiskey.  :)  They had freshly popped popcorn to snack on.  We enjoyed the live band they had.  They even had a little gift shop in the middle of it all.  This is an outdoor venue with a large stage, huge fans, and an A/C type machine to keep us somewhat cool in the June Texas Summer Heat.  There were people of all ages from twenty-somethings to of retirement age in the sixties and probably well seventies.  We will be back again the next time we were in Bandera.

    This place was the bomb.

The beers were cheap, the music was a-plenty, and the venue itself was very nice!

I wish there was a similar place in Austin like this.

The Port-a-cool things they had everywhere made it actually a decent temperature for being outside.

I will definitely be coming back here on my next visit to Bandera.

What a fun place. We were in Bandera visiting family from VERY far away in another land, the Northeast, and were taken there for "something different." it is BYOM (bring your own meat) in addition to BYOB if it is whiskey or such as they only serve beer and soda and waters. Very cool to see them fire up the BBQs and see what people bring for meat, seasoning it there or bringing it marinating in Ziplocs. Thankfully our kids did the grilling as i would have gone into hot flash h&ll had I had to stand over those grills in 100+ degree heat. Very colorful, congenial, lots of people having fun, dancing. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because the flies were ALL over our food, and the $5 side dish of salad, string beans and white roll was nothing to write home about. OH, and no soap in either bathroom (gross).
If you must be in Bandera, highly recommend this as something you don't see very often, even if you do do your own grilling!

Fantastic bar and live country music and dancing. Near the German hill country. Awesome little town with glorious  courthouse. Anyways bring your own meat to grill yourself but only Wednesday's. Reasonable prices for drinks.

Wow, how the times have changed.....what once was a little dive bar that sported colored lights, boots and under garments from its humble beginnings is now billed as "The Biggest Little Bar in Texas" and a first class outdoor music country music destination. Great place to boot scoot, drink beer and catch one of a number of either regional or national touring C&W acts. While they only serve beer, its served in a great setting for locals, tourists, singles, families, etc. Now that the Cabaret down the street only operates on special occasions, the new and improved version of this local establishment is a welcome site. Can't wait to come back with family and friends.
