1810 Tavern

In town with 3 friends for work and found this gem on yelp. Fabulous! We went around 8pm on a Wednesday night. Decent crowd for a wednesday night. Our waitress was excellent and on top of everything. I started with the mango chopped salad...delicious. So good my friends each ordered one after seeing mine. For an entree I had the coconut pie mahi mahi...what an amazing creation, dinner and dessert in one. Sooo good. We shared a salted caramel vanilla crunch cake and sugar/gluten free chocolate truffle for dessert. They were both to die for. Overall, a perfect experience...good food/libations, great atmosphere and a super friendly waitress who was very welcoming to us out-of-towners. Would absolutely return next time I'm in town. :)

2nd time here, 1st time we thought it was decent, so we gave it another shot valentines day weekend.
Food- overall ok. Duck breast was nice. Wife had seabass, completely cold. Bruschetta app was plain and underwhelming.  
Service- awful. The poor girl had too many tables for her waitressing experience. We never had specials read to us, had to ask for silverware, wrong beer brought to the table, asked for water and she forgot it twice,etc.
I should have mentioned we reserved this night at least a month prior, to eat and hear the band that was scheduled, and we were seated upstairs, where u couldn't hear the band. Mind u , the upstairs is cold, dark, and uninviting. We felt as if we were being punished.  
I really hate to criticize any local business
like this, but it was really a bad experience, making this the 1st ever review that I have posted.
