Service was sooo slow. They didn't take our drink order for 30mins, and we had to ask to order drinks. A member of our party accidentally walked into the kitchen when he was looking for the restroom and saw someone smoking in the kitchen, which I'm pretty sure is a health code violation. The fish was completely over-cooked. The food was just average and pretty expensive.
Review Source:We decided to try the place on Saturday at 2:00 in the afternoon but they were closed. Â Hours on the door said open noon Saturdays but the door was locked. Â If you decide to make the drive you maybe should call first. Â The owners or managers were inside having beers and talking on their cell phones. Â Ended up going next door to Hawthorns.
Review Source:We stopped in Labadie after a gorgeous day in the Shaw Nature Reserve. Two restaurants sit next to each other in this little town. We honestly chose 3 Brothers because they had next to no customers and we were rather starved.
Abysmal service. They "ran out of rolls, so it would be ok if they didn't replenish them". Their credit card machine was down, but hey, there's an ATM across the street (which of course charged me a $3.50 fee).
The food was particularly bad. Very, very overpriced. We have dined around the world, honestly, and never have I had food so overpriced. The staff at 3 Brothers try way to hard to be something they are not - an upscale restaurant in a whistle-stop town. It was no surprise why the Hawthorne Inn next door was hopping; they serve more traditional food that clearly provides more value to the diners in the area.
The Ground Angus entree was smothered in undercooked burgundy sauce that left my companion literally feeling intoxicated. The shrimp pepper pasta was clever, but was not worth $19. The name of the restaurant is '3 Brothers Restaurant and Bar', however they have no beer on tap.. Our other companions also felt cheated by the value of their meal.
We couldn't leave fast enough. Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending on who you wish to favor here, the restaurant looks to be up for sale. On a Saturday evening the restaurant next door was full to the brim, while 3 Brothers had but 4 tables. The service certainly reflects their overpriced menu: an establishment trying to hard and failing miserably. Next time, just be patient and wait for a table at the Hawthorne Inn next door.
Went here for my cousins aniversery. Arivved at 7pm and finished at 10pm. Yes the service was very slow. Â On the good side rhe appetizers were very good. The only down fall was the the steaks and sea bass. Our steaks were not cooked to temp and were very bland. I hate to say it but po derosa has a more flavored steak they lacked seasoning and were very dry meaning no blood left in them at all like rhey were cut early in the day and sat in walkin all day loosing all that good blood that makes a meadium rare steak taste so good.
Review Source:Food was fantastic. Hot fresh rolls melted in your mouth. The Caesar salad was good. Cheese lacked any flavor so it could have been left off the plate entirely. I had the surf and turf special. Beef tenderloin and grilled scallops with a garlic dirty mashed potato and green beans. The tenderloin was a large piece of meat cooked to perfection. Scallops just needed a pinch of pepper. Mash and green beans were fantastic as well. Decent sized portion. We also had a caramel apple blossom. Unfortunately a not so great ending. Center was cold and nothing special. My biggest complaint was that service wasn't that great. If I spend as much as I did I expect 5 star service.
