This place has established itself as one of the better venues for live music in downtown Fredonia. Â There's usually room to dance up front and tables around. Â Watch your step transitioning between levels. Â Its usually a friendly crowd, sometimes very quiet. Â On the right night, with the right band on stage, this place rocks. Â
* Drinks are fairly priced, but above average for a college town. Â Depending on the hour, table service may not be available. Â
* Bathrooms are hidden down the hall along the right wall, badly cramped, and maybe bring a friend to guard the door for you. Â
* Parking is easiest to find in the public lot behind the storefronts across main street.
41 West is an upcoming hot spot. Â With new owners it is a place with great possibilities. Â the new people are testing the waters on how they want to operate. some of the highlights are a trivia night on Wednesdays, and restaurant service on Fridays, with one of the best fish fry's in the area. There is usually some sort of other special course on Friday, all made by a local caterer "Chubs" Fadale, the portions are really Big! and very tasty! Â some of the bar is multilevel so watch your step in the dim lighting. Â On most occasions the decor doesn't seem to match the crowd, and more bar tenders are needed on busy nights. Â As I have said it is a place within transition so anything can happen...
