Visited Graziano's after a recommendation from a friend. Â Bright and clean inside. Â Their claim to fame seems to be they serve breakfast ANYTIME, even on a Friday or Saturday night. Â Â They have a deck with tables but on a Saturday afternoon in July we opted (like most of the diners) for eating inside. Â Average menu.
Review Source:Good spot for all day breakfast. Â Hearty breakfast menu with friendly service. Â Only ate dinner here once. Â The food is what I call "bar food" which is fast food served on real plates with good service. Â There are several televisions here for watching sports and a full service bar. Â This is a very nice place for a breakfast or a quick dinner on a night you don't feel like cooking.
Review Source:I heard so many great things about Graziano's and this past weekend, I was finally able to see what the hoopla was about. Located almost directly across the street from the more well-known Flo's, Graziano's is a small joint right on Park Avenue, with it's backyard facing the bay.
Stepping inside this place, you have a small dining room and a outdoor patio area with umbrellas. We decided on the latter, even though it was STEAMY outside. After hearing so many great things about their stuffies, my entire party each had one for a appetizer. Their world-famous stuffies are true to the hype; really dense, really tasty and all with a kick of spice. For my entree, I just went with the clam strip roll and while it was commendable, didn't really match up with my favorite clam strip roll from Quitto's in Bristol. Just beware on warmer days outside. Behind that white fence of theirs is the water and some bush, along with TONS of mosquito's. The afternoon I was there, I was flicking them off me all throughout my lunch. The next day, I realized that they ate me alive while I was chowing down! Definitely throw on some replelant if you plan on sitting outside. While I don't frequent Portmouth all that often, I would come back again if I had a hankering for stuffies. Except next time, I'll be sure to sit inside.
Jess, Patti & Zib make that place! Love going in and seing their shining smiling faces. The patio looks gorgeous and breakfast outside in this area is quite a treat. The owner (forgot her name, sorry!) makes sure that everyone is taken care of and she hussles just as much as the waitstaff does. Nice to see.
Review Source:Fueled up at Graziano's before a mid-day hike at the Cliff Walk. Â It was late morning and we were able to sit at a nice table on the deck. Â Service is fast and though the food is standard breakfast fare it is hot and hearty. Â Portions are big and prices are low. Â I had a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on a bagel with breakfast potatoes. Â Beau had an omelet and the chorizo hash. Â YUM.
Review Source:501 would get another star from me if I had gotten my food when everyone I was with got their food. It took an extra 6-7 mins to get my breakfast. Â The chorizo hash with eggs was a revelation though, 501 definitely redeemed itself. We sat out on the patio part which didn't have a view of the bay unfortunately. I'd definitely go back to 501 if I lived in the area.
Review Source:501 is a small restaurant that had live music the night we went. Â Not sure that is normal for a Friday night. Â If you are looking for an elegant meal this in not the place to go. Â The restaurant is an upscale diner. Â The dinner menu included everything from breakfast, lunch and dinner. Â All were available for dinner. Â It would be a quick family restaurant if you want to have seafood while your kids have waffles. Â
The dinner we had was fine but hardly something rave about. Â The food was good but lack imagination.
Graziano's 501 Cafe
Ordered a special off of the dinner menu. The scallops were very plump and juicy. The sauce was some sort of lobster flavor. The dish was a mix of several flavors, but not overly complex. This was one of the better meals that I have had in many months. When I come back to RI, I will stop in again and marked it on my GPS. I complemented the chef, and the owner comped me a free beer. Has outdoor waterfront patio and private parking lot.
