This store had quite a few things on display and for sale.
I am not sure what the negative reviews were for (some mentioned 'the lady helping me' - or should that be 'the lady not helping me'?), but I dealt with Miguel there and he was very very helpful, knowledgeable and nice.
For our company, I bought a UHF wireless mic setup and a karaoke machine. He was great in explaining and showing things about it.
I did have to return the machine (kept the mics) a week later, though, and again Miguel was very helpful, courteous and fast.
I was so disappointed in my visit here. Â I can't believe I drove 20 minutes out of the way, just to come here. Â
Expectations: As one of the largest karaoke retailers in the nation/world, I thought there would be a lot of learning and advice that I could get for a custom system that I wanted to build.
Reality: The lady helping me knew nothing. Â Plus, she tried to BS me! Â Not a big fan.
I was interested in buying some equipment for a custom karaoke setup in my home and I was looking for a system that can be updated over the web, etc. Â She had no idea what I was talking about, which is ok. Â But then, she tried to steer me towards the "bundled" packages and then sell me a bunch of VCGs. Â Exactly what I didn't want - talk about not listening to your customer. Â I did not enjoy her upsell and her obvious lack of knowledge or her unwillingness to find an answer.
I will not be going back and if I can help it, I will not order anything from them. Â Such a disappointment!
This online retailer is not reliable and not responsible. Â I placed an order on an open-box item on their website. Â Their confirmation email states that item will normally be shipped in 24 hrs and a tracking number will be provided when item is shipped. Â I placed a note that I need to have the item in one week. Â Since I live in the same state, I don't see that timeline being unrealistic. Â One week later, there were no email and no item. Â I called them and was told that the order was cancelled and money refunded. Â What da... Â I never got an email nor a call from them. Â I wouldn't have known if I didn't call. Â Their explanation was that they don't have the open-box item in stock. Â They don't even have a new one in stock. Â Normally, company would call and ask for extension of time to place a backorder or get direction from buyer. Â Now they try to sell me something different and claim to give me a discount. Â They wouldn't even try to get me the item that I wanted. Â Now I am stuck without the equipment that I needed for this weekend. Â Just because they list the item online doesn't mean they have them.
