Local Korean Cafe - a little old looking, but I figure for somewhere nicer, I'll go to K-town. Â Ordered some typical cafe food: Â Budejiggae (army soup), cheese corn, and bacon wrapped duk. Â I fricking love bacon wrapped duk, esp. here bc the duk was really crispy on the outside, as if they threw it in a deep fryer. Â The Budejiggae was pretty large - better to share with three or more - and was good but not quite the best I've had. Â It had way too many pieces of sausage in it and only a few pieces of duk and spam. Â Cheese corn was good, but not as sweet as I would have liked - it also had peas in it, which was different. Service was good - whoever thought of placing a doorbell at the tables in these Korean cafes was a genius. Â Also got a carafe of Yogurt soju (they were out of lemon soju, can you believe that??), which had a bit of carbonation to it. Â Good stuff. Â Prices are a bit expensive in general, but I think they are probably normal for a Korean Cafe, though they should prob charge less based on the location and the way the place looks. Â And it's true, there are quite a few old men who hang out at the bar. Â But there are also a lot of younger people (early 20s?) who hang out there, too, so it can get pretty loud.
