This place is GROSS.

My fiance and I were in town on vacation and this place was close by our hotel. I was hoping it would be one of those hole in the wall places with great food, but the food was disappointing at best. I should have left as soon as the smell of the place hit me on the way in. The place was extremely dated, poorly cleaned, and I barely touched my food. What a waste of vacation money.

Very over-priced, though that's somewhat understandable given Mackinac City is a tourist town. Â However, our service was poor and we were stuck with and 18% tip because of a "large party," which was made up of 1/2 very young kids. Â The food was also quite mediocre according to all of teh adults in our party.

I've only been here for breakfast, the food is pretty good and comes out fast. The service is okay, they are friendly - just slow on things like checking on you after you've been given food and getting you your bill, neither of which bother me. Both times I've eaten here there was only one waitress serving the whole restaurant!

I would recommend going here for breakfast, based on the previous reviews it's sounds like you'll get better food.

This restaurant IS NOT closed, but it should be because it's terrible.

My moms steak ($15) and my "Admirals Feast" ($20-3 kinds of shrimp, fish, lobster tail) were all overcooked. I mean EXTREMELY overcooked. The veggies tasted like they were from a bag. Disgusting.

Our server was nice, but she was overworked and had too many tables. It took us a long time to get our food and there were many parties who came after us but got their food before us.

If we would have had to pay our bill: $35 + tax + tip, we would have complained.
