Absolutely terrible. Went a few times with friends, mostly for beer and the standing-around-screaming-in-each-other's-ears-Âover-blaring-music that stands in for "socializing". On the two occasions I had the food it was dreadful. Rubbery, flavorless meat, gummy tortillas, generic salsa, oil slick on the plate from too much cheese. The second time I ate at AG's (fatty wings and a burger not even good enough to be called mediocre) I got food poisoning and haven't set foot in the place since (not even for a beer, which even they can't f--k up). If you're looking for a decent bar at The Greene, go to Bar Louie. If you're looking for awesome Mexican food, you're probably out of luck. (You're in Ohio, after all.) But you can go a little out of your way for Taqueria Mixteca on 3rd, or at least up the street (Dorothy Lane, that is) to Los Reyes.
Review Source:Let's start with the fact that the steak fajita was really good -- tasty, lots of meat, veggies condiments.
However, I will state that this was my first time here and the venue surprised me. Â I was anticipating a bar/restaurant in which you can eat in the bar or in the restaurant. Â I did not know that this is a bar; just a bar which happens to serve food and capitalizes on its happy hour. Â I wasn't quite expecting that and would not have chosen a bar to have my dinner tonight. Â
Oh, well. Â As I said, the fajita was good and the margarita was decent.
