Some friends and I stopped here on the way home from BLT this afternoon and could not have been happier with the whole experience.
Service
I think these guys were even a little short staffed today, but despite having plenty of folks in the place, I felt like we were the only ones there. Â Everyone that helped us out was so genuinely nice, it felt like we were at a friends house for lunch. Â Maybe I just eat at the wrong restaurants, but that is pretty hard to find.
Food
Its funny, one of the other (overly snarky) reviews said something about the menu being from 2005, which is hilarious because people seem to think you should be able to get a foie gras infused kobe burger with a kingdom heart mushroom reduction for $12...everywhere. Â Let me tell you what I did get for ~$12- 1 absolutely killer 1/2 burger, sweet potato fries, and a cup of the best tomato basil soup I have ever had (sorry Mom). Â The one mistake I made (never again!) was not saving room for dessert. Â Luckily, my buddy was smart enough to order the 1/2 portion of the warm brownie and my other friend and I got to get a sample of this ridiculous creation. Â Now if the menu really was written in 2005, some sort of parade should happen honoring that year...and this brownie. Â Just think piping hot brownie out of the oven...covered in some sort of crazy homemade caramel...topped with sea salt and pecans. Â Oh yeah, big ass scoop of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream for the nail in the coffin. Â Even if you aren't hungry for a proper meal, I think it would be well worth it to roll up on this place and order a glass of water and the brownie. Â I don't know, maybe milk if they have it.
Overall
I just wish I lived closer to this place so I could check it out more often. Â I have been looking for an excuse to bike Noble/BLT/LG more often, and I think I just found it.
Nice work guys- Â I'm really looking forward to next time-
