OH    D E A R !!!!!

Apparently this former American Legion has been sold to a private owner. It still looks like an old American Legion. Right down to the Legion signs everywhere and the hanging rack over the bar with potatochips and snacks.

I guess, after three trys of trying to like this place, I can't. However, the Bingo was fun even if I didn't win. And the place was FULL.  

It looks kind of shabby,some of the chairs need reupholstered, and some of the unnecessary signs all over the place put up with duck tape could be removed. Each of the bartenders I've had have been    sassy    .  The banter between them and customers at the bar was entertaining to a point.  The bartender is also the pulltab person. That translates to having to wait for another drink while she counts out 50 tabs.

The dust  in the light covers over the bar made me shudder,

Unfortunately,  all three meals I've had here were average or so. But I think for a small town local hangout place it is ok.  Just not my cup of tea. A lot of people seem to like it here.
