AMF Taunton Lanes

The Taunton Lanes aren't the most ship-shape of bowling alleys around but they serve their purpose when the husband is itchin' for some 10-pin action amongst friends.  It's a good neutral location to meet up at & pitchers of beer are a plus with our crowd.  Nice that despite their shabby appearance, they make it a point to card everyone, otherwise, the lanes would attract even more riff-raff than they already do.  The facilities need a good deep clean or a complete revamp might be good too, but I can't say that I know how well the Taunton Lanes do for business, whether it be through mainstream walk-ins or their own bowling leagues.  My husband always says the cost for games & shoes at AMF Taunton aren't as bad as most others nowadays.

I come here several times a year and was even a member of a league here a few years ago.  Staff is very helpful and courteous. They also serve food and there is a bar inside. Their hours change with the season and usually stay open longer on Fridays and Saturdays.
