Great friends always make bowling so much better! We had two hours of unlimited bowling, for me personally, having a beer or two or maybe three ;) helps with getting better each time I bowl! The best part was the lights going down, music got louder, and it felt like being in Grease 2 or Across the Universe, only if everyone was in sync!
Review Source:Decided to have my hubby's birthday get-together here after dinner. Â Was pleasantly surprised at the full bar inside.
We arrived at 9 on Saturday and the staff there were great and suggested we wait til 10 because after 10 it's all-you-can bowl til 1am for the same price that we'd pay for 2 hours at 9...so we decided to pop into the bar and get some drinks. Â
They had these huge "bowl" drinks that were seriously yummy and the hubby was happy with $13 Blue Moon pitchers.
I'll return just for the bar, forget bowling. :-)
For a bowling alley this place is nice and clean looking inside. Â I'm not really sure about the price since we were here for a work function; but we are thinking about going back on a Sunday to take advantage of their $10 all you can bowl deal that they have going on right now. Â The bowling employees there are all very friendly and welcoming. Â Really the only down side to the whole place is the food, I know it's a bowling alley so what did you expect? It was decent enough, but the prices were a little high and the beer was even expensive. Â We'll give it another try, but probably eat before we go to save some money.
Review Source:Last night I went to University lanes for the first time with my husband, his parents and our 2 year old son. Myself and my mother in law did not bowl, yet the my husband his father and my son still spent over $40 just to bowl! Same price for everyone, including a two year old. Come on, movie theaters give discount prices to children, he even gets in free to major theme parks! The lanes were decent but the food was over priced and terrible, plus they didn't even get our order right. We ordered loaded nachos and out came some burn tortilla chips with some watery nacho cheese. We also ordered mozzarella sticks which come out not very hot with ice cold marinara sauce. We won't be going back.

Bowled ONE FRAME decided to leave due to poor service and the assistant manager never asked why I wanted a refund and why I was unhappy and even then didn't tell me he wouldn't give me a full refund anyway. So I lost $9 bucks on one frame. Won't be back.
Review Source:One of the cheaper options for bowling in town. The place is still pretty nice, it gets the job done, and you can still have a great time with friends. I hear the place can get packed, but it has been pretty empty all the times I have been. The food is kind of pricey, so you may want to eat elsewhere.
