Meridian Hookah Lounge

The meridian lounge is the first place I ever tried hookah, shortly after turning 18. I'm 22 now, although they've changed it quite a bit, I still love it. One change is they raised the flat fee of ten dollars to twelve. But, it IS a flat rate and entitles you to unlimited hookah. A lot of establishments have you pay per hookah, which can get pricey. Its such a laid back hangout place. Its kind of on the dark side, but I like it. They also have a stage for musical performances, which I unfortunately haven't seen yet. I knocked them down one star because they took away my favorite couches!! Although old and worn, they were the sink-into type of couches, in my opinion they kind of made the place. The new ones are stiff. The menu of flavors is ever growing, and anyone can find a combo they'll enjoy. Love the staff, hookah, one of my all time favorite hangout places.

I love meridian hookah lounge! It's the best place to smoke hookah! $12 for unlimited hookah from 8-3am, it's awesome. Friday night is black light night and Saturday night is open jam. Anyone can play or sign up on stage, it's a blast.

This is the first hookah lounge that I've tried in Tampa, and I really enjoy going to this place. It's VERY reasonably priced (especially compared to the places that I regularly go to in the Chicagoland area). Plus they have a student discount because it's in USF Bulls Country. But the best part is the fact that it's a shisha buffet, so you get unlimited flavors and can change them every half an hour if you so choose. It's a medium sized space but it doesn't feel cramped. They aren't stingy about the amount of hookahs they bring to your group and the staff is friendly enough. There is also live local music if you're into that.
