One of the largest bars in the Wapella area, Annie's was built soon after the 1968 Wapella Tornado as a diner by Marvin Morris. Â In various incarnations as the Wooden Nickel, a steakhouse, and a Knights of Columbus Hall, the current Annies has been regarded as a consisten draw since it beginnings. Â Now featuring live music, large volumes of beer, native American decoration, and a fine shuffleboard table, Annies is very busy, and popular gathering spot in DeWitt County.
