Growing up in a small town is something I know a lot about; places like this are where the locals come together and the tourists go to visit. Fortunately, they can all get along here.. Â you feel that the moment you step in the door. Â Friendly, lively, blingy and sometimes comical but most of all - it feels like home only with cold beer. Â Don't pass by this one, friends - it's a definite keeper! If you come to the country to feel country, to experience the culture, take this one in.
Review Source:My family and I love antiques arts and beer, Beverly and Louisa! The service is great the shopping is fun. As someone who is there often I can say there is always something new or hat you haven't seen before in the shop. Hundreds of beer and wine selections! Great place to relax have a beer (or 3) and shop!
Review Source:Wow this is a super Great place Me and my wife went there this past Sunday the beer was nice and cold and the service was Super Awesome. one of the only places open on Sunday.  Beverly the owner is a very nice and fun person to talk to they have a lot of nice antiques to look at and over 170 different beers. Beverly is very knowledgeable about all of the beers and she is great to talk to. They have live music on Saturday nights. We are going to make plans to visit one Saturday night. This is a MUST Stop if you are in Shiner Texas. she  has a Facebook page too.

As one of the very few places open on the Sunday we got into town, this place gets half a star for that alone.
We came to Shiner to tour the brewery for my husband's birthday, and knew in advance that IT is closed on the weekends. What we didn't count on was about 75% of the shops and restaurants being closed too.
Anyway, it was open, we went in. Â The woman behind the counter was super friendly, served us frosty cold mugs of Shiner from the tap, and sold us lots of memorabilia. She also called a steakhouse in a neighboring town to make sure they were open for dinner for us!
Next time we visit Shiner, Texas we'll make sure it's during the week, but we will definitely make sure to stop in here again!
So some friends and I went to Shiner Texas to visit the Spoetzl Brewery and stopped by here afterward. Â This is an antique shop, but has lots of other things like furniture, art, wine and, most importantly (and what prompted our visit) 165 varieties of beer! Â
The air conditioning was cold, the beer was cold and we hung out for a long time drinking a few. Â I even got some antique salt and pepper shakers for my wife! Â
The antiques were pricey, but the beer was reasonable.
