Applebee's

Don't know too many places where a 3 year old is singing karaoke at 10 at night..... But who am I to judge? It's applebees, so no need to talk about the food or atmosphere.

The theme song from cheers goes "You wanna go where everybody knows your name".  

This place is cheers.  Except that everybody knows everybody else's name, not yours.  :)  It makes us out-of-town visitors feel a bit out of place.  

Anyway....I'm sure almost everyone on earth has been to an applebees at one time or another, so you already have an idea about the food here.  

On the negative side, There was vomit in the parking lot (never a good sign for a restaurant), and the restaurant smelled a bit on the funky side (sort of like old stale beer).  

On the plus side, my waitress/bartender Heather was gorgeous.  (Hey, it helps make the experience more fun, I'm only human)... Also, she was extremely prompt and attentive...

Considering that all there is in Martinsville is chain restaurants, this serves the purpose when you need to get some food, and don't feel like going to McDonalds.  :)
