Horrible service and management. The food is typical Applebee's food, which is alright. Some of their food is really good. But the lack of good service and decent management makes this place less than desirable. Also, it seems that the lunch crew is much worse than the night crew, which is considerably better.
Again, the food is alright, but the servers during lunch take a long time to get to your table and take your order. I have had to wait 10 minutes for drinks. In addition, the servers at this place do not pre-bus. I have had a stack of dirty plates and bowls on my table, surrounded by other tables with the same size stacks, throughout my meal. This place does NOT have a full hands-in, full hands-out policy (which servers reading this will know what I mean).
I don't know if this is down to bad servers as much as it is to bad management. I have seen managers walk around during lunch with dishes all over the place, yet they do nothing. They could either help with the food running or pre-busing, but they do nothing expect go around to tables and ask "how is your meal". Â Their is a lack of pride in running a decent restaurant. Therefore, I can't exactly pin the bad service on the servers, as they might not have the managerial guidance to become good servers. This place should really consider a overhaul of both staff and management. Again, I say this mostly for the lunch staff, as the nighttime staff seems to be noticeably better.
