On a drive from Washington D.C. to Florida I got a drive-through order of a King's Hawaiian roast beef and swiss sandwich and the home-made chips.
The King's Hawaiian is a limited-time item on sweet bread made by a bakery of that name. The bread, which I've never had before, tastes really good and is weirdly spongy. I'm not an Arby's fan but this was an enjoyable novelty.
The home-made chips were chewy and not very appetizing.
Rated three stars solely for the King's Hawaiian. Otherwise it drops to one.
(08/08/2012) Â Service was friendly and efficient (slightly slower than one expects from fast food, but still, only waited about 5 minutes); food meets expectations for an Arby's (fresh toppings, warmed throughout, portioned large), location was clean. Â One thing about this particular location, there's only one driveway in and out and it's very, very narrow with a treacherous looking ditch to either side; would not want to get caught in that.
