  The restaurant is very tired looking, and the staff does not seem to want to be there.  We walked in looking lost, and they left us to figure out to seat ourselves, walk up to them to order and wonder how we were going to get our food.  The pizza was very elaborate, and surprisingly, they did not skimp on quality, quantity or freshness.  I can see why people come far and wide for the pizza, but I like getting the complete dining experience, and this place does not deliver that.

  I did not realize that I hadn't reviewed this yet! Well, again, with Monticello you have the issue of having a very slim selection of eateries so you must deal with each one's flaws or go eat at home. I love Arni's pizza and breadsticks - not to mention their chili. What really irks me is that with being one of the few established restaurants in Monticello that this location have never received a face lift - of which it is in good need of. A full carpet replacement and interior redesign is greatly needed - different booths and maybe a more private setting - maybe to look more like the great Arni's in Lebanon, IN. Service is always pretty good - not as great was what it used to be - but you know.
