This is a must!!  Service is always stellar...we love Jeff behind the bar! Steaks, roasted chicken, homemade soups and the freshest salad bar...are some of my favorites. The drinks are make fresh and the specials are always creative.  You won't find a TV blaring or loud music here...just good food in a historic, friendly atmosphere.

This place is full of very friendly people.  The food is great and reasonably priced.  Very quaint, old style establishment with history.  Had a great breakfast and dinner there.  If you like Bloody Marys, they have a special menu full of just those.  I had a great Filet Mignon for dinner.  It was huge, tender and very very good.  Very good service.

This place is great. I love the cheesy little salad bar that has a great soup and cheese and crackers. They bring you a loaf of bread too.  It reminds me of a Wisconsin supper club. I had the 36 oz ribeye and it was great, priced right. You should give it a try. I am a fan. I have never tried any of the desserts.

Wow, I cannot believe that I haven't been here sooner!  We had breakfast here this past Sunday and it was an AMAZING experience!  They have a Bloody Mary menu that has about 25 versions of the fantastic drink.  We both tried the 'Crabby Mary', and it was excellent!  It was a difficult decision between eating the breakfast and finishing the drink, we chose the latter!
Please, please, please stop here on a Sunday and try a Bloody Mary, you will not be disappointed.  I am beyond thrilled that I have found my new fav Sunday breakfast joint.

I used to rave about Art & Alma's steaks and the 'quaintness" of it all, and definitely, one of my favorite dinning places until... Last night was a bust. Our table ordered two porter house medium rare ( $20), one was a porterhouse med. rare, the other a thinner cut, charred on a 1/3 of the steak and hunks of fat hanging out. Looked more like a "used / precooked" rib eye. I let the server know and declined the offer for replacement meal.  She was nice enough to say that they took the price of the steak off the bill, but charged only for the salad which was included with the steak along with the soup ( that we never got). Anyhow, they charged $10.99 for a quarter plate of iceberg lettuce leaves, two pieces of spinach, one radish, one carrot stick, one small spoonful of cottage cheese, and one thin slice of peach and a drizzle of salad dressing. Nice crisp lettuce.. but $10.99 ? NAH. I get more at McDonald.
This confirmed a suspicion from another visit almost a year back. Friend and I ordered rib eye steaks. Her's looked like rib eye and she enjoyed it, and mine looked and tasted like sirlon. Guess they did not think we could tell and know the difference.
BTW.. the beef tasted different this time. Tasted a bit "frozen" and they were swimming in grease/butter ? with a piece of fried lemon as adornment. It will take a lot and a lot of convincing for us to return. What a pity.

My Pals and myself are big fans of the breakfast fare on the weekends. The breakfast POTATO's deserve a shout out they are beyond terrific. Cubed and roasted to perfection no greasy grilled hash browns that other's offer.
We have enjoyed dinner many times and have spanned the menu and never have been disappointed. Unique comfort food. We bring our friends and family from all over. Service is always warm, welcoming, with quick hot food.

While it's true I'm a big fan of "The Corner", I don't think 4 stars is quite enough and yet I don't want to give it 5 since, well, nobody is perfect, you know?

Let me start with the qualifiers...  I grew up in the area, in fact I vividly remember sitting at the bar of this fine establishment the night Reagan got elected the first time, drowning my sorrows with a friend.  But that's a story for another social network.

I've eaten here for years and I won't even pretend to know how many times it's been.  This is, without question, one of my favorite restaurants EVER! The wait staff are all pretty much on their "A" game every night, and since Chef Dave has been back, so is the food.  The steaks are melt-in-your-mouth tender and cooked to perfection.  The Friday night all-you-can-eat fish is always done just right.  The Prime Rib is as awesome as mentioned in an earlier review.  I've never had a bad meal here.  Nor have I ever had bad service here.  And I think that, as much as anything, is what keeps me coming back.

It's not really a large place, so you may have to wait for a table.  It's certainly off the beaten path, so it may take you awhile to get there, but if you want a great meal at reasonable prices with excellent service come out to Art & Alma's.

A hidden gem!  This is an old school "Supper Club" at its finest! Owner Sue K. will greet you at the hostess area with a big smile and then seat you to old world charm! From the salad bar to the entrees (I cannot resist the "Kupper Steak") you will not be dissapointed. Wonderful service (Ann is our main squeeze!) and great food at very reasonable prices. Atmosphere, food, drinks, and customers (great people watching from farmers to lawyers)! Put on the feed bag and enjoy!

Best Prime rib anywhere. Its one of the best little kept secrets out there and I probably shouldn't be writing this since it is so small. It has a small salad bar but it is very good also.
