Yes, you can go crazy at The Asylum!! Â You know, they only serve Nuts there. Â Staff extremely friendly. Â When you get off your cruise ship, you can enjoy the free Wi Fi they have while sipping on great Alaskan Amber. Â they have super bloody mary's as well. Â And don't forget to buy an Asylum Shirt.
Review Source:More cruise refugees, here! We walked plenty around town and need a rest. Great Alaskan Amber, reasonable price. Sat upstairs, so smoke didn't bother us. Lots of wifi going on. Nice people. Good place. They are putting in a grill upstairs, so they may be offering a new menu! Thanks, everyone, for a good time.
Review Source:Great little pub, good enough food from the Burger Queen next door. White Alaskan Beer was the bomb. Refugees from a cruise ship, we did the quick walk through the tunnel to get here and loved the feeling of local realness and homey comfort. Kinda longing for a little Asylum right now....
Review Source:went for the cheap beer and wifi. Â Wifi was either down or overwhelmed by others thinking the same thing and didn't work. Â Lots of drafts, but they tasted a little off...could be the smokiness inside messing with my taste buds..speaking of which the bartender was smoking, something I don't think I've ever seen before in my life....again if you want a cheap beer its a good place to go, but don't expect too much
Review Source:I liked this joint. The beer is prob the cheapest in town, $3.50 / pint! And it tastes good too. Carlos, the owner, must keep his taps clean. As opposed to Jeremiah's in the Best Western, not only is the beer 60% more expensive, but it tastes like crap. I had the same beer, Alaskan Black IPA, which was awesome at The Asylum, and 15 min later, at Jeremiah's the same tasted like really awful! At the Asylum, Carlos or his wife will get you food delivered from the Burger Queen, next door. I had wings and fries. Both were great. Their wings are dry but quite spicy!
