Lobster Macaroni & Cheese. Oh yeah, that's right. I love lobster (or crab, shrimp and other related crustaceans) and adore mac & cheese. So when I spied this during our make up V-Day weekend I knew we'd be eating here simply to eat that.
We went on a Sunday which was pretty slow, though we'd come the night before just for drinks and the place was hoppin' with some live music. Service for us was super quick & polite and we enjoyed some seating by the fireplace.
So obviously I got myself the mac & cheese and the boy got himself a pizza. Both of us were totally pleased with our selections. They didn't skimp on the lobster & the mix of cheese was superb. I ate every last bit of it. The boy loved his pizza too & he's not one to say such things so that's a good thing.
Definitely a good option if you're not looking to drop $$$ down in the Dining room.
The atmosphere is pretty awesome. That's the only good thing I'll say about this place. We came up for dinner and drinks and were ignored literally for about 10 minutes. We decided to check out downstairs instead and after a look around we went back up to the lounge. We found a spot at the bar and within a few minutes we ordered our food and drinks, (and a Dr. Pepper) Our drinks came out promptly aside from my Dr. pepper that was still MIA. 15 minutes later our food arrived, and the waitress just sat it down on the counter and walked off. We sat there starving and staring, a few minutes later the waitress came back and brought more food, obviously there was no room on the counter so our food was pushed aside while she served another couple. We waited, the couple down from us noticed our food and asked us if we wanted them to just start sliding things over. OF COURSE!!!! BY THIS TIME THE FOOD WAS COLD! I again asked for a Dr. Pepper and the bartender said they don't have Dr. Pepper, why he couldn't have told me when i first answered I'm not sure. We ended up serving ourselves, and the customers did as well. This place is a joke, its unprofessional, and when you ask for something the waiters look at you as if you're speaking another language. If you plan on coming here, eat somewhere else beforehand.
Review Source:Great ambience and the food wasn't too bad either. Â It was quiet in the non-summer month we were there but that was kind of nice. It featured two fireplaces and I can imagine it being a happening spot in the summer. The top-40 music is not usually my style but fit in well and the sound was really spot on.
They had the typical bar/lounge fare, but it was still tasty. Â We had the BBQ chicken pizza and cobb salad with crab. Â And, at least while I was there, the bartender didn't skimp on the alcohol in the cocktail.
