This rather authentic-feeling Irish bar was the scene of much merrymaking at a recent wedding weekend I attended. Â Lots of Scotch to choose from, nice! Â Notes on those:
- Bowman 18 (which I liked and reminded me of Johnny Black, but was too expensive)
- Talisker 10 (which I'd never had and found as smokey as Lagavulin or Laphroaig), - - Macallan 12, which was my favorite. Â It tasted a little chocolatey or like maple - but also "fermented" - not like they just added the flavor.
Happy hour at this place was awesome! Â Half off appetizers and beers made 10-15$ meals pretty cheap, especially when the appetizers were basically full meal size. Â The service was great and the bartenders were very attentive. Â I'll definitely make a point of stopping here after snowboarding if I'm back by Squaw again!
