So I came back on a Saturday night looking for a burger. I had the smokey bleu burger.  Very disappointing!  The burger was dry and I assume a previously  frozen patty.  I would have been hard pressed to tell you there was any bleu cheese on the burger.  The menu said bleu and cheddar cheese, found the cheddar not the bleu.  Having had good items here before, I think the burgers are not their strong suit.  I will give them another chance, just not for the burgers; I have eaten quick serve restaurants with a better burger.  FYI, the gentleman next to me had a steak, I think he made the much better choice!  Even though the place was busy, the service was very good.  I place seem a bit loud from the juke box, but I had to set under the speakers because the place was full.
Review Source:Everything I've tried here was wonderful. Â Great prices for the portion size. Â The Pizzas and Calzones are second to none, but the whole menu is well designed and executed. Â My girlfriend and I make this a regular stop when in North Springs. Â We have always had excellent service as well.
Review Source:My wife and I and 5 other friends decided to goto Back East Bar and Grill this past Friday night. Â As we walked up the music that was playing inside could be heard at deafening levels outside. Â This was a huge turn off. Â Not only would we not have been able to hear ourselves think, but the band was god awful too.
We turned right around and went down the street to Champps where service was good, food excellent, and we wouldn't need earplugs during dinner and Miracle Ears after the fact.
Drove down from Denver to meet some friends for dinner here. It's kind of loud and a little crowded, kind of a local bar where the employees seem to know a lot of the people that come in. They've got a dart board, and live music comes on in the evening (the band we heard was pretty good).
I had the quesadilla which was pretty good, and the service was great. The waiter was very attentive.
Overall good bar, but still not my favorite local bar in the Springs.
We went here for live music and didn't get to try any of the food but certainly enjoyed a number of beverages.
The staff here was EXCELLENT. I never waited more then 3-5 mins for a beverage, even though the place was packed. Love the layout and how clean the place is. Yes, it is loud but that's how I like my music.
PS. Props for having a door man that actually opens the door for ppl as the leave / enter. The guy was cordial, professional, and a nice change to what other bars offer up.
Thanks Back East ... I'll be kickin it there again soon.
I was so excited that someone recommended this place for pizza. My husband loved it.... but it just wasn't back east Pizza as I know it. The service was FABULOUS! Our waitress was wonderful! The place was clean and tidy! We went for lunch, and would go back, I just would not order pizza.. :-)
Review Source:Came in for lunch during the week and really enjoyed the service and food. The waitress was prompt and friendly.
For lunch I had the pulled pork sandwich with onion rings ($1 extra). Lots of big chucks of pork and bbq sauce with a little spicy kick. The onion rings were ok. I also tried my dining companion's fish n chips YUM. I'm definitely getting those next time, hot and crunchy and you get a good sized serving.
I'll be back!
Great service. Great drinks. Great food. Mo, Pat, Jason and Keith are just a few of the uber cool employees that provide great service. Lots of stuff going on during the week and weekends. Never ever had a bad meal, warm beer or bad vibe here. Tons of sports on and if it's not, theyll hand you a remote so you can find it. Clean Friendly Fun lots of locals.
Cheers.
This place is always packed regardless of the day of the week, so people must enjoy coming here. Could just be the live bands though, it's much much much too noisy for my liking. Definitely not the place to come if you want to hear what the rest of your party is saying. They really turn up the volume on the band & in such a small confined space, you can barely hear yourself think. It's probably better if you sit out on the patio area especially during cool summer nights. The bouncer was a little rude too, not a great first impression walking in the door.
Review Source:Admit it. If you live in Colorado, you're SOL finding a pizza place that'll come close to anything they have in NY or Chicago. But you're still on the hunt for better-tasting pizza- anything other than Dominoes delivery. So if you live in the Springs or find yourself here for some reason, make sure you  give this place a whirl. The Beast, a GIANT square pie + 50 wings meant for around 12 people, is not only a pretty good deal but also a pretty well-made and filling pizza.
Review Source:I really, really like this place. Feels like a trendy, cool place to hang out, not just your run of the mill restaurant. Great bar with a pretty good beer selection (Sam Adams on tap is always good with me).
I had the Philly Cheesesteak, and it certainly wasn't Pat's, but it was definitely delicious.
Pizza is alright, but not my favorite.
Just a good place to eat some bar food.
The service was terrible. They charged our group for extra drinks that we didn't order. $42 dollars worth and would not give our cards back until we paid the due. They called us liers. There was a long wait for the drinks we did order. And to top it all off, the bartender cussed us out because we were buying our friend drinks for his 21st birthday. Everyone in my group feels the same way--worst service ever. We will never go back again.
Review Source:The service here is much better than at Borriello Brothers, and the pizza is about the same. You cannot get great pizza in Colorado, you need to head about 2000 miles to the East in order to get real pizza, but they have some great unique dishes. My current favorite is "The Twister" which is a pretzel roll piled high with pot roast and then topped with queso.
Review Source:I spend a lot of time here and love it. The daytime staff is the best in town, very friendly and take the time to get to know the customers. Definitely a neighborhood bar where everyone enjoys each others company. Just a great crowd in general.
The pizza is the best in town, I am spoiled by the freshness of the pizza and find it hard to eat elsewhere.
The family who owns the restuarant are also fantastic and get to know the regulars and make it a very comfortable place to visit often. I would recommend this place to anyone in town.
This website boasted a family atmosphere but that couldn't be farther from what I experienced.
We had never been here before and when we walked in, we were unsure if it was seat-yourself or not. The staff ignored us so we did.
Our waiter used many profanities, insults, and inappropriate gestures when speaking to us. We had to ask to have our drinks refilled and he acted as if it were an inconvenience to him.
The food was mediocre. We didn't have the pizza so I cannot comment on that. Some of the things we ordered were the artichoke dip, french fries, sweet potato fries, shrimp, and chocolate cake. Nothing special.
