Really loved the concept of this place, the interior is quaint and the people and service was fantastic. The reason why I give this restaurant only 3 stars is I believe they have an identity crisis. On one hand you are marketing a farm to table concept and preparing most food in house and sourced locally but then in an effort to keep costs down they use frozen chicken, frozen tuna and overall low quality cuts of beef. I personally would have been happier to pay more than the $15 for the Ahi Tuna special if I was given better quality fish that was not over cooked. I would suggest to the chef that if he is trying to keep costs low because of the area they are in to serve some different entrees where they wouldn't have to sacrifice quality. Perhaps a "farm fresh" burger could have been on the menu served with fresh ground meat, some fresh toppings and a free range egg on top.

I will come back as I loved the service and the deserts were fantastic. I hope they just adjust the menu if they want to stay at a certain price point otherwise raise your prices and quality of meats.

We really enjoyed the dinner. The starter was a house salad with a very nice dressing. My husband had the chicken breast stuffed with mushrooms with white truffles flavor, cooked just to the point. I had the beef stew with the mashed potatoes with a very nice red wine reduction. It was absolutely delicious and we can recommend the restaurant and the friendly staff.

Great experience.  Casual restaurant in a house with a half-Mexican & half-American Menu.  High quality food. The Chefs introduce themselves to everyone - nice touch! A real gem & rare find. Crab Cakes were amazing.  Chile Nogada with a sweetened cream topping infused with Tequila & topped with pomegranate seeds. Highly recommended.

This is my first time at this restaurant. It was previously a different restaurant. It's located in an old ranch house. The menu has a Mexican side and American side.  I started with the potato ham and cheddar soup. It was very thick and tasty. My main course was the Mexican plate. It was good for Pipe Creek but nothing to brag about. Then again it's the only restaurant in Pipe Creek. I wouldn't drive from anywhere else to eat here but if you're in Pipe Creek it will fill you up.  I will update when I eat from the American side.
