While I am in total agreement with all the comments about the fabulous pastries breads and sandwiches I see no one has mentioned the incredible clam chowder available only on Fridays. I tried to convince the owner to enter last springs razor clam chowder contest but to no avail so if you want some you'll have to go and get it directly at the source.

The building is cute and the coffee is good (wish i could say the same for the chai). However the place was CRAMPED on a Wednesday afternoon. The service was a bit curt, but understandable given how swamped with customers they were. All of this can be forgiven, however, in light of their heavenly butterscotch oatmeal scones! Soft, buttery, and pure magic!

Wonderfully fresh, carefully baked breads and assortment of other fresh baked goodies.  What a terrific breakfast and lunch stop on the penninsula. It's a must do for us everytime we are on the penninsula.  The counter service is friendly and efficient.  Sandwiches are wonderful, too!  Great coffee, too.  I often get items to go for later in the day.
