The Bamboo Restaurant

No thank-you. NO CLASS. THE REASON WHY THIS VALLEY SUCKS.

Oh no... just... dear, God in heaven NO.

Okay. The parking lot is one shady piece, let me tell you. I used to work nearby and I can't tell you how many fights, arguments and gunshots... GUNSHOTS... I've witnessed there. Just as many cops too. They do live music (bands) on Tuesdays now and that brings a whole different crowd in. usually all ages before 10pm.

The hip-hop nights are the WORST. I remember my band playing at the club across the parking lot one night, and around 11pm we were suddenly surrounded by at least 6 police cars. They realized we weren't the guys they were lookin' for and went over to the bamboo to arrest some dude wielding a knife around.

If it wasn't in such a violent and gang-ridden area I would give it more than 1 star... but for the safety of your and your friends' life... pass it up and go get bugged for change at Denny's across the street. At least its not surprising when a homeless dude goes crazy.

An 18 and over club in a strip mall on I street. It's a Mexican restaurant turned bump and grind palace which tries to be Asian by using words like "karma" and "bamboo" for their events.  They still advertise their ladies night on Myspace, which is a major red flag! At the club, an Aryan Nation member told my friend that "we white guys must stick together." If that wasn't disturbing enough, you can people watch out in the smoke filled patio.  One patron came in wearing a race car jacket and sunglasses resembling Usher. Another girl had pre-projectile vomit land on my friend. I'm giving it 4 stars because it brings Lancaster stereotypes to life. If you aren't pleased with this establishment, you are in walking distance to the Britisher pub.
