The Bank Food and Drink

The bank is amazing, I haven't been since the most recent renovations and new chef but I hear it's even better than before. The food is to die for, you may have to wait a while for it but that's because they make everything. The setting is intimate and romantic depending on which room you get. I would recommend making reservations. The whole experience is amazing and would be great to celebrate any special occasion.

Dined here with my girlfriend and the cuisine was impressive.  The Apple Cider Pork Chop was cooked perfectly and the soup of the day was probably better suited for the dessert menu.

What is most impressive about this restaurant however, is the decor and the atmosphere.  It is a contemporary and well executed renovation of an old town bank.  We wandered the corridors and saw the nooks and crannys for private parties to dine in - a modern setting with old things on the wall.

This restaurant, I think, is a very light gray.

I went here recently on a trip to Pearisburg and had a wonderful experience!  Everything - the food, drinks, service, and atmosphere - was excellent.  We started with some awesome cocktails and the pork belly app.  A little small for the price, but very delicious.  I had the duck with chipotle grits and broccolini.  The duck was delicious, flavourful, and tender.  The grits were SO good and the veggies were too.  My boyfriend had the ribeye, which he said might have been the best steak he ever had.  I'm not a fan of ribeye, as they can be too fatty, but this was seriously fantastic.  And all the while, our server was friendly and attentive.  We were probably the last people in the restaurant by the time we were done, and the chef even came out and asked how everything was.

All-in-all, a fun night with amazing food and service!
