  This was a fun place to wine taste. The store was like walking through a hoarder's house but eventually we made it up to the Baroness Cellars. Modern wines with edgy labels and unique flavor. We especially loved the wine cider they offered. The two men working the bar did a great job keeping everyone engaged in conversation. Tastings are $2.50 which is completely fair and waved if you purchase bottles or join the wine club. They have a balcony you can people watch from AND an attached living room area where you can responsibly drop of your kids if you have them.

  Went to Leavenworth Tree Lighting event this month (Dec 2011) and it was the first time we headed over there during the winter.  It was a pleasant surprise to see the little Bavarian town all decked out, Bustling with people from all over bundled up in winter garb as it was 22* out but it was sunny & clear.
  There were lines and lines of people trying to get some Bavarian treats such as sausage, pretzels, beer, spiced wine, elephant ears, kettle corn.  Though it was busy, it was still easy to get in and out of the different stores & shops. One of the great finds was Baroness Cellars.  We had checked out a few other wine tasting venues but discovered that this winery was one of the best tasting.  I liked the Merlot so much. I had to get a bottle of the Baroness Cellars to take home and enjoy.
  Great little place, offering an array of french boutique-esh gifts. They even had a little deck that opened up to the strip where you can go out there and enjoy some vino with a view.
  Will definitely come back...perhaps next year for the lighting event & check out the energy the little Bavarian town has to offer to get me in the holiday spirit!
